*_*_*_*
We spent the rest of the night watching ‘Chicken Little’, my favourite movie. We fell asleep on the sofa all tangled up.
That night I could officially say that he moved into my room. Around 2 am, he picked me up bridal style, put me down on the bed and pecked me on the lips.

I woke up completely oblivious to Antonio sleeping next to me. I got up, brushed my teeth, took a shower, went to my closet and chose a new outfit.

I fixed breakfast and listened to the radio, the song that was playing was ‘Thinkin’ ‘Bout You by Frank Ocean’. I thought about Brandon. At that time, I really had feelings for him, but when he betrayed me, I’d never felt that hurt. Now that I had Antonio, I could forget about all my problems and just be happy. I heard footsteps. I felt arms around my waist. “Hi, beautiful,” he whispered in my ear with his husky morning. I turned around; he was so handsome when he just woke up. “I made breakfast, I see you did quite some shopping yesterday,” I picked up a box, “Coco Pops™!” I laughed. “Don’t blame me, I’m a kid at heart!”. I smiled and sat down. We finished eating and left for work.

I arrived at work with a huge smile on my face and a cappuccino for Anna. “What’s wrong, did you get hit by something on your way here or what?”
“No...” I answered dreamily.
“So, how is Antonio?” I looked at her,
“Oh he is good!”
“Ooooh... The way you talk about him means something good happened...”
“Yeah...” I said waking up from my trance, “He only made me dinner, nothing special...” I replied blushing. “I better be going, Martha must be worried sick!” I said shaking my head.
I took the lift to the 12th floor and I quickly realised that everyone was busily chatting completely oblivious to what was happening around them. I entered my office, sat down at my desk and took a sip of my cappuccino. I checked the progress of the magazine and I saw that we had moved on quite quickly and that everyone had worked at home. Everyone but me. I had managed to finish one page the day before and draft the second page. Lorena’s progress: 2 out of 8. I was NO where near proof-reading or handing in. As I expected, Martha came knocking on my glass door. “Hello dear,” she said closing the door and taking a seat. “Oh, hello Martha” I said forcing a smile. “How are you?” I said looking at her. “Oh I’m very well, now that I know that my employees take their work seriously...” It was obvious what she was trying to say, but I didn’t say anything. Instead I replied flatly “Yes, I’m very pleased too, you know because I thought this was an impossible task...”
“Yes, so enough of that, have you done the research I asked you for?” she said her gaze digging a hole in the side of my brain. ‘Holy shit. I did it but I just couldn’t remember where I put it...’ “Now where did I put it?...” I mumbled looking through my drawer. “There ii is!” I pulled out a bright red folder labelled ‘MARTHA’. It was the only red folder I had so I never lost any work I had for her. I opened it and gave her two printed out sheets of paper. One was labelled ‘Bracelets’ the other one ‘Necklaces’. She looked at them and nodded, “Okay, you can get back to work now” she said leaving the room.
