ESCAPE WAS THE ONLY thing on your mind, but how?
well, you'd cross that bridge when you get there.
the men had left long ago and you were now left with your thoughts, you didn't have much time left.
"cuff her, she's capable of a lot more than we may think."
men that you had never seen before were approaching you in a hasty manner, it was time.
you let them take you, if you didn't put up a fight then it'd be easier to look for any kind of opening of escape. maybe then you could finally rid yourself of your fate.
after the first few years of being held in that 'orphanage', you had grown used to it. you didn't mind it anymore, and had actually preferred to stay there than be sold off like everyone else.
the fighting was the only thing that bothered you, as well as the abuse you put up with.
but, of course, you also didn't know any better. that place was technically your home. and just like everybody else, you had never known anything other than this.
but even if your heart desired to stay, something in the back of your mind was screaming at you. telling you to run, escape, and never look back.
you always ignored those thoughts, not only did you not mind keeping yourself in the facility, escape was impossible.
you had tried many times before, and the only thing you received was discipline. after about a hundred times you finally learned your lesson and lost hope.
as you were being escorted to the wagon with your hands cuffed behind your back, you felt a sudden weight being forced around your neck. it was cold, and heavy. not exactly the most comfortable thing in the world.
as you tried to move around to stop them from putting it on you, one of the guys held your head forward forcefully to get you to stop moving.
"wha-"
"this will only buzz a little for a second. now stay still, would you?"
as soon as they had fully attached the metal collar around you, it emitted a shock into your skin, "AGH-"
you couldn't even express the pain before they wrapped cloth around your mouth to avoid your voice.
