All ideas in this book was not taken from any other book, at least not purposely when written. My editor and I brainstorm ideas together to make this book have sense, drama, and fix any gaps that may confuse the readers. I purposely refuse to watch any pirate movies or similar, so that I can try to make it original as possible.

As for the characters, Luna is based off the author. The 8 pirate members of Captain Scar is based from Ateez, a kpop band created in South Korea. The characters are made to look the same and act the same but they are not the same people. Because this is a fan fiction, I try to match the personalities as much as possible except for a few of them for the story's entertainment. The character Vi is based off my close friend, whom without her, this book would not be created. Thanks to her dedication to motivating me and making sure everything is perfectly aligned, this book would not happen.

Raiders Lockeheart face claim, used to help visualize the story, came from the Poldark series. The actors name is Aidan Turner.

Scarlet Lockeheart's face claim is also from the Poldark series. The actress's name is Eleanor Tomlinson.

Blackbird Scar's face claim, comes from a show called "The Musketeers". The actor's name is Santiago Cabrera.

One more thing I wanted to mention, is an apology for the readers whom has read this book before. The previous books somehow had gotten lost and all the work destroyed. I'm not sure if my account got hacked, the system glitched, or what exactly happened but I did get in touch with the Wattpad team and their response is that there is nothing they can do about it.

So valuable lesson for me and for all writers, always have a backup. And another backup in case that one gets lost as well.

But the good news is, I'm recreating the book along with the help of my editor Vi. Since time has passed, both of us has matured and learned more about how to let the sentences flow smoothly and to make it more of a real book. So this series should be even better than the last.

And surprise surprise fellow fans! This series isn't gonna be exactly like the previous book. No. This one has even more of a plot and twist that you won't expect. The main line will be the same, but this time, something else will take place.

Don't be afraid to reach out! I'm not the best responder I will admit, however I will still be happy to make conversation with you.
