Kurapika sat up and groaned. He felt his head sting.
"Dammit" he muttered to himself. For over a week, Kurapika has been overworking himself to exhaustion and ignored all of his symptoms of a cold. But sadly to his demise, he got very ill.
He lied on his bed, hoping the pain and the numbness would just go magically go away.
Suddenly......!!!!!!!!
A tall lanky figure appeared on his doorstep. It was leoreo.
He had come to visit his friend. It has been a few months since they last met, and he was hoping they could catch up.
He had knocked on his blonde friend's door for a while now but.. got no answer. So, Leorio broke into his house.
What he was greeted with was not a surprised kurapika. But instead, a comatose kurapika...
.. Is what leorio had thought. But turns out his ruby-eyed medium-blonde haired 5'2 male friend had caught a cold.
"Did you overwork yourself again.." Leorio muttered to himself.
Thanks to his odor, kurapika had already realised someone was inside the room. Sadly it wasnt chrollo but instead, his other "friend" leorio.
"Leorio..?" Kurapika muttered. His vision heavy, blurry, but he still recognised his friend.
"What are you doing here...?" Kurapika asked, his voice frail and weak.
He was too tired to be surprised.
"Wait..Did you get sick?!" Leorio says surprised.
"Lets get you to the clinic before this gets worse, pronto!"
"N.. No can.." Kurapika tried his best to talk "..c-can you examine me instead?" Kurapika asked, flustered.
"..Alright....You dont have to talk. Ill get you some water. I can hardly hear your voice" Leorio calmy said as he rushed over to the kitchen.
Shortly after, leorio came back holding a cup of water and a wet towel.
"Thank you.." Kurapika said.
Leorio picked up the wet towel and came closer.
But knowing leorio, he hasnt bathed in a few weeks. Kurapika jolted up from his bed and turned his face away, closing his eyes. Leoreo reeked.
Leorio felt a bit guilty since he himself knew about his odor. "Im sorry.. I shouldv-"
"Its okay." Kurapika cut him off. The smell doesn't bother me. "Your smell reminds me of you. " kurapika said, slowly turning his face towards leorio, blushing.
"I didnt.. I didnt turn my face away because i couldnt bare to smell you!.. I.."
In reality, kurapika got nervous because leorio got too close. Catching a whiff.. He suddenly remembered the old days when they were adventuring together. Back when they fought, laughed and ate together. It was a warm memory kurapika held close to his heart.
"Thank you for visiting me today.. Im sorry i couldnt give you my hospitality.."
"Nonsense!" Leorio says. "Youre sick. You dont have to be thinking about me right now."
"But all i could think about is you.." Kurapika thought to himself.
".. Okay"
"Thank you leorio."
