When I walked out that door I almost screamed. Nicki came running toward me and hugged me. "Hey baby" she said kissing me repeatedly. "I missed those lips" I said grabbing a handful of her ass. "Excuse me" Yolanda said with her hands on her hip. "Hey ma" I said leaning in for a hug. "You've gotten so big" she said. "I know" I replied laughing. "This is your nephew Gregory"she said pushing the toddler toward me. I picked him up and stared into his blue eyes. I saw Moses. "Hey big man give me five" I said as he slapped my hand. I even felt Moses.

Later that day Nicki brought me to an apartment. "They took Big Toe's place from us" Yolanda said. "I wasn't ready to go back" I replied kissing her forehead. "Te quiero" I said. "Te quiero" she responded. When we opened the door to the apartment people jumped and yelled welcome home. I laughed. I saw many high-school friends. My heart almost stopped when I saw Mr. McKnight. "Hello sir" I said giving him a firm handshake. "Sweaty much" he said. I turned slowly. He grabbed me and hugged me. "You needed that experience" he whispered. "Yes" I replied. When I looked up I almost cried. It was Ms. McKnight holding Tiara.

"Come on over" Ms. McKnight said. I walked slowly and greeted her. "Here" she said handing her to me. "Hey baby" I said kissing her on the cheek. She started crying and everybody laughed. After the party it was just Nicole, Tiara, and I. "Welcome home daddy" she said hugging me. "You know I leave for college in a few" she said. I looked at the bracelet on my ankle. "I know" I replied as I placed Tiara in her crib. "My peps will come around once in awhile to make sure y'all okay" she said. "Daddy will pay for our place the first year but you need to get your life together when this comes off" she said kissing me.

Three weeks Later it was Tiara's birthday. We had a small party and it was also Nicole's goodbye party."This is it" she said kissing me. "Dam man I'm going to miss you" I said hugging her. "Me too" she said kissing Tiara. I watched from the window as her mom took her to the airport. So it was just my daughter and I. I looked at the time and put her down for a nap.

6 months Later

"Hey baby" Yolanda said hugging me as she placed groceries on the counter. "How you doing?"she asked. "Good I took my house arrest bracelet off earlier. "Good" she said lifting Tiara. "So where's my nephew?" I asked. "He down at the daycare" she replied. "Look you need to get things right. Like ASAP. You got 6 more months until Mr. McKnight stop paying for this place" she said.
