BEST FRIENDS

Chapter seven

"Hi guys" Yoongi announced his arrival, as he joined the group of 6 boys that were planted in the hall talking. "Hey", "Hello." Yoongi was met with many greetings, one of them being Jimin's whose hand found his. "Where is she?" Taehyung had all his focus on his phone, a worried expression decorating his face. "She'll come, alright Tae" Jungkook tried to rescue the worried boy. It was Monday morning, 5 minutes until the bell would ring for class, but there was still no sign of Madeline, who would always inform her best friend if she wouldn't show.
So of course the boy was a bit stressed about the latter. "Don't worry tae, she'll show up" Jimin's hand found taehyung's arm, stroking in a caring way. "Ringgg" the bell rang loud through the long halls, making all the students wandered towards their classroom for their first period. Taehyung sighed before walking to class, still hoping to receive a message from his missing friend.

As Madeline entered the school, she was met by the very empty halls. As she walked through the silence she finally reached her class. Keeping a low profile as she opened the door, knowing she came late. "Good to see you Miss Kang" Ms Seo smiled at her, well aware that she was late because of a doctor's appointment. Madeline bowed before making her way to the back of the class, finding her seat beside Lee Keeho.
As the bell rang, Madeline was just getting done with the last work, happy with what she had got done in this class. Thanking Keeho for the help and introduction to the subject, she picked up her bag, walking towards the next lesson.

Maths, one of the subjects Madeline found rather easy, she had that with Jimin and Namjoon. Walking in, a book under her arm, she saw the teacher hadn't arrived, as most students stood around the class, talking. Spotting her two friends, she made her way towards them. "Hey you're here" Jimin couldn't help but smile as he saw who approached them. Now hugging the standing Namjoon, she greeted the two. "Yeah, I had a doctor's appointment." She explained making both elders sign out after understanding.

"Students find you seats" Both Namjoon and Madeline sent a bye Jimin's way before finding their seats, which luckily were next to each other. "Okay guys today we are starting a new assignment" Mr Lee's statement, made. Most students groan, which made Madeline and Namjoon giggle at their reaction, both liking the subject, Cus they actually understood what to do.

"Hey Madeline, can you guys help?" Somin from the table in front asked. The two top students, not getting the assignment like the rest of the class. "Sure" Madeline agreed, as she started explaining in a different way than the teachers, hoping that it would make sense in some way, for Somin and Hae-min.

"There's kimbap at the cafeteria today, let's go guys." Jimin was rushing the two, before they even had packed their things away "Jimin, it's just kimbap, it's not that exciting." Namjoon laughed out, as he saw the pout on Jimin's face. "But still" He huffed, his sassiness showing "come on let's go you little boy" Madeline reached her hand out for him to grab, as the three of them made their way to the cafeteria. Entering the big hall, where many students were already seated, eating their different choice of food. Namjoon and Madeline lost Jimin a few metres in, knowing he was probably already getting his kimbap. They found the rest of their friend group, sitting at their regular round table in the middle of the many tables. "Hey guys" they announced their arrival as they reached the table, making the many seated look up, greeting back. "Hey Maddy" Hoseok said, smiling at the girl they missed that same morning. "Hey Hobi" She smiled back, sitting down beside him. "You gonna get food?" Namjoon asked Madeline, even though he already knew the answer would be no. "Nah, Taehyung's gonna feed me anyway" she said, acting annoyed by her best friend's daily behaviour, making the other laugh, knowing she liked it. "So where's Jimin?" Yoongi slyly asked, well so he thought. "Your lover boy's getting kimbap" Madeline smirked as she said the nickname out loud, well aware that she got the whole table's attention. "Thanks" Yoongi had a bitter smile planted on his face, as he sarcastically thanked the girl. "WHat? Lover boy?" Jin and Hoseok asked shocked, "Yeah something happened at my place Friday" Madeline had the biggest smirk as she came with all the gossip well, only to the two latter. As they rest hadn't showed up or gotten lunch. "Whoaa what happened? Are you guys an item?" Hoseok was the most excited, especially as it was about his best buddy Yoongi. "No, not yet..." Yoongi was now the person who informed the two friends of the current situation. "Oh my god" Jin's reaction made them all laugh "What are we talking about?" Jimin asked intrigued by the conversation that seemed oh so funny. "You and Yoongi," Hoseok stated, still in shock. "Oh about our amazing hook up Friday?" Jimin said straight ahead, not thinking he would receive the reactions he got. "Finally??" Jin let out, talking for the rest of the group, who patiently had waited for those two to get together. "Yeah, no more play boy i guess" Jimin said with a big pout on his plump lips, his words made him receive a punch from the boy beside him, who now was stuck with him. "Now we are only waiting for Tae and Maddy," Hoseok stated, making Madeline choke on air. "WHaT?" She coughed out, but luckily for Hoseok. Jungkook, Namjoon and Taehyung's arrival ruined the break out that was about to go down. "Sup guys" Jungkook greeted as he sat down, starting to eat the many kinds of food he got. The boys feel in talk as Madeline got distracted by Taehyung "You're here" He placed the tray on the table, in front of her. As she was pulled into a tight hug. "Where were you from the morning, and why didn't you inform me?" Taehyung sounded concerned, almost mad at her. "I got a doctor's appointment." She couldn't help but laugh at his overreaction for her not informing him about that small thing. "You okay" his mood now changed to concern. "Yeah everythings fine, come eat silly" She laughed as she scooped over for him to have a seat.
