"Bye" Ji-ah left Madeline alone at her locker. The girl left behind, turned her head. Tossed her books into her locker, as they joined the rest of her many random things laying in the bottom of the blue metal locker. A loud noise filled the halls, as the locker got closed. Madeline didn't care as the big hall was like a highway for all the loud teens who had to get from class to their next location. Clicking the lock shut, turning on her heels, she was faced with the now less crowded path, as most had found their way towards the big eating hall, that also being the said girl's next stop. Her head was pounding, even though it was only 12 am. It wasn't bothering her much. As she walked in silence her nylon pants being the only thing she could hear, beside the few private conversations around her, that was too quiet to actually give information. The girl stumbled a bit as she felt a weight on her shoulders and a little push forward. "Hi" Taehyung slumbered against her shoulder. "You seem quite happy tae?"
Madeline asked, seeing the boy smiling and bouncy. The boy did in fact feel extra energised today? No particular reason behind the boy's mood, guess he just woke up on the right side of the bed this morning. "And you seem fairly down" looking at her tired expression, but also read the shorter's body language, that stated nothing other than tiredness. "mhm" she hummed out, not really in the state and mood to answer her best friend probably, spotting three girls walking their way. Their pace much faster than Maddy and Taehyung's. As the two walked deadly slow, because of Maddy. "You okay Maddy" Taehyung knew she wasn't, but asked anyway cause he knew she would tell him what was bothering her. At the same time, the three well known girls walked past them. Madeline felt the stares, the three judgy looks she received for just walking with her best friends beside her. Taehyung caught the eyes of the three girls, glaring deadly back, as a response to their rude action. He would always get pissed whenever someone judged Maddy in the slightest way, sometimes wanting to punch someone, so angered he could get by all the hate Maddy would receive around him. Madeline who didn't think much of the disgusting looks, from the most popular girls, knew the boy beside her was pissed by it, so to not make a fuss, she moved on with their on going conversation. "Just a headache" came out as she looked over her shoulder, his face closer than she thought. "ahhh come here" He pulled his arm back, releasing her shoulders from the torture of his weight. He moved in front of her. Taehyung's hands made their way on both sides of her face, cupping her cheeks. Madeline smiled as she felt the familiar soft lips of his, on her forehead. Taehyung melted, hearing the small giggled that left her mouth as he almost attacked her forehead with kisses.

Settling her butt down on the hard bench, her and Taehyung drew the attention of many, as they sat at the filled lunch table. "Maddy" Hoseok stated from beside her clearly happy to see the girl sitting with them today. Many of the well known boys greeted them. "I'm gonna get us food." Taehyung whispered in her ear, trying to drown all the other voices. Madeline smiled while nodding her head, watching him disappear through the stream of people.
"Hi girl" Ji-woo took the spot Taehyung just left open. "Hey" she said, quickly embracing her friend "All the others out eating?" Madeline questioned, hearing earlier from ji-ah, that her, Violet and Aera were going to eat outside school. "Yeah, I'm going to the library too." Madeline grimaced as her friend disappointed her "But I also wanted to make sure you're coming to performance class today." "Of course" Madeline had in her messy locker, somewhere a very pink Post-it note, which read "Performance week Friday 5th" As a part of the performance with the dance and music line, Madeline too was excited for the upcoming week. The highlight of the year as always, the spring musical.
A week where you would rehearse a musical, only for it to be performed in front of all the students and parents. It was every Student's dream, getting to do what they loved and with friends and the rest of the school community. That was if you actually got past the auditions.
Madeline, like lots of other students, didn't get a part in the musical last year. There were around 600 hundred on the performance line alone, and only around 80 got to be a part of the project in some way. This year it was Madeline's plan to get a spot in the musical.
"sweet, see you there" Ji-woo was gone before Maddy could answer.
Taehyung's steps were headed towards the table centred in the middle of the room, he tried to body through the crowd, careful not to drop any of the food the tray contained. His eyes were fixed on his favourite person, the girl whose long hair reached her mid back. She was even pretty from behind. When it came to Taehyung, he thought she was pretty from every angle, every time of the day, every weather, all the time, he admired the girl.
