Jungkook has already had of plenty interaction with Seokjin today— though they didn't talk to each other. But now he's reminded that he has to film a behind the scenes video with Seokjin and his skin feels all tingly.

For years now, Jungkook has tried his best to push memories to the back of his mind. And no matter how hard he tried, it never worked.

Sure, Jungkook had had crushes before, back in middle and high school. He liked people and blushed like the teen boy he was.

But Kim Seokjin was different.

Kim Seokjin was his first love.

They didn't have any sort of amazing backstory or anything. They met through mutual friends, got along, teased each other, really liked each other, and were high school sweethearts the year before Seokjin was meant to graduate.

They hung out at school events, held hands under the cafeteria table, went to the park and movies together, texted each other nearly every day, and even kissed three times. Three!

Seokjin was the only person Jungkook had ever fallen for.

Seokjin is the only person Jungkook has ever fallen for.

When they broke up, Jungkook tried to keep himself together. Tried to not let his insecurities flood over. He ignored Seokjin for an entire school year and Seokjin just let him; of course, why wouldn't he? Seokjin meant everything to him, but Jungkook didn't mean everything to him in return.

He and his friend group were studying entertainment in several ways. Jungkook is so glad that Namjoon and Yoongi write music because he gets to vent all his feelings with his closest friends helping him do so.

All this time, he's been writing songs about actor Kim Seokjin and nobody in the world knew about it. Nobody knows that Kim Seokjin has broken someone's heart before.

It isn't fair.

It isn't fair that Seokjin can live life normally while Jungkook suffers by being in the same room as him and having to record with him.

He immediately recognizes his company's camera crew when they come in. It's just a few people- a woman holding a camera and some sound equipment dudes.

Seokjin is over by the wall on his phone, so Jungkook asks one of the staff to go and get him so they can record.

He looks surprised by whatever the staff tells him and lowers his phone as he looks around for Jungkook, who instantly looks away from him.

Seconds later, footsteps approach them and Jungkook finds it hard to swallow.

"Okay, so just tell us a little bit about what you're filming." The woman holds up her camera, getting it ready. "This won't be released until after the show is, so say whatever you'd like."

Jungkook clears his throat and doesn't dare to look at Seokjin, but once the camera starts, he greets the camera along with the actor and even mentions him to his fans.

"I'm filming with Kim Seokjin-ssi," he says with a small smile. "Filming has been exhausting, but lots of fun." It isn't a lie, at least.

Seokjin agrees, "Yes, it's great to see Jungkook trying acting for the first time. He's a natural."

Jungkook just gawks at him like a complete idiot, but then he tries to muster the same intimidation he had a few weeks ago towards Seokjin.

"Um. Yeah." He fails, looks away from Seokjin and the camera. "I've always liked to try new things—"

"Mhm, you have."

He clenches his fists and decides to cut it as short as possible. "And I hope my Kookies also enjoy the show. We've worked really hard." He forces a smile and claps lightly in front of the camera to signal that he's getting the hell away from this interaction.
