"Shit. Shit. Shitt" first night out late, and it was for the first game of the season, Which we won 69 to 28. My Father takes pride in the fact he has daughters that rarely come home late but tonight I was late. And it wasn't because of the game. I practically sprint out of my Uber to my front door. I swiftly look over to see Lio falling out of his bedroom window. I snicker to myself whilst fumbling with the stupid keys.

Finally, I opened the stupid door. I rush over to my parents and nearly collapse in their arms. "So? How'd it go?" Jess, My Stepmother asks impatiently. "Really Good, I'm the manager of the basketball team and Mr.Harris said that it sounded like The student Council would be honored to have me and that I'd be able to start campaigning soon."

All day I'd been sick with anticipation, and now that I finally secured my spot as the basketball team manager. I can finally begin my campaign. "I knew, you'd make it," Victoria asserts while scraping her plate clean. "Fingers crossed," I squealed, untangling myself from their hold. "If I don't get into the student council-"

"You'll get in," Jess chuckles.

As I walk into my room, with the idea of finally curling up with my AirPods and start planning. Every bone in my body freezes to a halt when I catch a glimpse of the male figure staring at my bookshelf.

Lio's eyes skim across my frame as he walks closer to me. "Lio what are you doing here" I whisper-hiss as I immediately shut the bedroom door. "Finally," he says with an exaggerated sigh. "Veronica I texted you a million times,"

I motion for Lio to turn around so I can at least change into comfortable clothing and he does. "How do you feel about going to an NCS party" he says now sprawled out on my bed glancing at the Justin Bieber posters on my roof only to take a disgusted glance back at me. I politely flip him off as I reach for my brush to tackle the monstrosity on my head, and he smirks at me.

Lio has grown into a pretty attractive guy. I mean, he had Blonde fluffy hair, green eyes, and freckles that were perfectly spread all over his face. "That sounds like hell, I don't exactly feel like partying it up with the kids that bullied me for fun." I replied. which he glares at me in return.

"Veronica we're graduating this year, And what type of boyfriend would I be if I didn't take you out to a party at least once." Before I could even reply he gets off the bed and onto his knees at record speed. "I'll do anything" I grin at his persistence "Anything? You say" I say to him whilst putting my hair in a claw clip. "Absolutely Anything.." he groans.

"Except anything that includes public humiliation, I have a reputation to uphold as well" Lio is the captain of NCS's Basketball team, And my boyfriend. We dated during middle school only to break up every other week, because of his drug problem. His father put him in rehab, but he couldn't really focus on his son, because he's a renowned diplomat who works closely with the European Union in Brussels, and for that reason I decided to help him get clean. He's been clean for two years.

I poke his nose, smiling now "You're helping me with my campaign." I know I should really be getting ahead start on my planning but Lio balances me out.

His body towers over me as he gets up. "How are we even getting to this party," I say while following him into my bathroom. Don't get me wrong, Lio has a car. His dad just doesn't reward bad grades so he's pretty much useless for the time being.

He looks down at me whilst leaning on the door frame and whispers "I know people" I roll my eyes and whisper back "Are these people legal ?" and he smirks at me. Lio is hot and cold, one minute he's popping every pill he can get his hands on, trying to feel the high he so desperately craves. And the next he's on his knees begging me to watch a French Rom-com because he thinks he might learn French. I smirk at the thought.
