You had known him since you were children, yet you had never seen his face, even after all of the years that had passed. It drove you absolutely insane. Sometimes you played a game with him, all you did was try and remove his mask. You have never won, not even close. Today would be different, that is what you hoped anyway. You headed to the training grounds to wait for him. He always kept you waiting. You sigh softly, pulling out a book to pass some time. You get through a few chapters before he shows up. Hearing him, you stand putting your book away. "About time." you say with a smile. He shakes his head with a hint of a smile in his visible eye. This is how all of your training sessions start with him. This time, you were changing the next step. You leaned towards him, kissing his cheek whispering, "If you let me see your face, I'll kiss you." A look of surprise crossed his face but a moment later you saw his face for the first time.
