Woodsboro Police Station:

The station is already in action, students are pulled in for questioning and news reporters stand at the entrance of the police station, leaving officers to stand guard.

"This week marks the anniversary of the infamous Woodsboro Murders." A female reporter states to the camera. "Two girls killed the exact day local celebrity victim, Sidney Prescott, chose to return to her hometown."

"-Could all be something right out of a Gale Weathers best seller." The male reporter unknowingly adds on to the female next to him. "And where is she now? Well, living right here in Woodsboro! Because she is the wife of Sherrif Dwight Riley!"

Inside, the station has also changed a bit, having a bit more grey than its original bronze. The mentioned Gale heads to her husband's office, trying a few of Judy's lemon squares along the way, they taste..... ah, what's that word...?

"Ms. Riley." Hoss waves to her as she passes.

"Hoss." She replies in between tasting her fingers of the sugar the treat left behind.

"First lady!" Perkin playfully greets.

"Perkins."

"Hello, Ms. Weathers." Y/N is the next down the line to greet her. "Love your book."

"Thank you, Y/N." Gale nods with a professional smile. She eventually makes it to the sheriff's office, but sadly Deputy Hicks stands in front.

"Excuse me Gale, he's conducting an interview." Judy tells her, immediately blocking her way when she tries to open the door. Inside, the interview consists of Dewey and Sidney.

"Great, I love interviews." Gale humorously replies, but Judy doesn't budge.

"You'll have to wait Gale, sorry." Judy informs her, keeping a professional tone. "Can't let you in there."

Gale lets out a breathless chuckle. "What are you gonna do, arrest me Deputy Judy?" She asks with an amused voice.

"If it comes to it." Judy sternly responds. "Civilian interference with a police investigation poses many a problem in a court of law."

"Okay, listen to me Judy." Gale starts, her tone not matching her smile. "I don't mind that you're working with my husband, or that you even baking those little treats as you do, but if you're gonna start acting like him, you got to put a mustache on because you sound ridiculous!"

"Gale!"

"Judy!"

"Gale-"

Dewey, noticing the argument, opens the door with an annoyed expression. "Deputy. Gale, come on, please." He embarrassingly pulls Sidney out of the office. "Uh, Sidney, if you don't mind giving us a minute."

"Sid."

"Hi Gale." Sidney walks off. Y/N secretly watches the dispute, seeing the three together makes him mentally confirm that he's got them all right where he needs them to be. He almost smirks.

"Dewey, would you please explain to Betty Crocker that I have every right to be here." Gale grumbly requests. "If there's been another murder in Woodsboro, obviously-"

That m-word sends her a straight visit to the office. "That is not public information!" Dewey hisses at her.

"It is all over the internet, Dewey!" Gale tells him, referring to the post a certain someone sent across the web.

"It is?"

"Yes! The whole word knows about it before me!" Gale exclaims, offended that this possible Ghostface whistleblower-ed they're own murders to the world before anyone could cover it.
