I didn't publish a thing like this again at first, because I felt like Scream 4 went the way I imagined it to. However, there was a few things I remembered that I cut out of the story for various reasons.
Prologue- I did plan on keeping the original opening scene, but my personal opinion felt like the Ghostface call being genuine was better in my opinion. Also, the creepy Deputy L/N would definitely say, "We'll have some fun with you before you die~"
Chapter 2- Nothing too special, just a small moment of the teens commenting on Deputy L/N, before I cut it out because that would ruin the whole 'Hidden in Plain Sight' thing.
Chapter 3- As I'm sure you've noticed in the Cast, Kirby has a quote that she's never said in the actual story. I kinda did this a lot with my earlier fanfics, but this one in particular was cut out for a specific reason. In chapter three, while Kirby and Jill were watching Shaun of the Dead, there's gonna be a small moment where the girls gossiped about Y/N, mostly the way he's been giving Jill the, 'I have a crush on you' eyes. But this cut because as mentioned, Jill is a seventeen and a half, and even though eighteen is the minimum age, (From what I looked up at least) for a deputy, I still felt like it would actually feel like a weird conversation to be having instead of the crush tee-hee stuff I imagined it as.
Chapter 4- Not exactly a deleted scene, but part of me wishes I gave the credit to Y/N because of how simple Ghostface killed Rebecca. Simple knife to the stomach and she was gone. It kinda felt like it fit his killing style more than Charlie, who I would keep as the Ghostface who just keeps stabbing every victim repeatedly until guts pour out.
Chapter 5- I was gonna have Deputy Y/N (Out of Uniform) To take part in the Cinema club scene, but I didn't really know what to have him say without giving his horror movie love away, and it would also ruin his goal of being Hidden in Plain Sight again.
Chapter 8- Now, I always intended for the story to end with Jill and Y/N getting away, as ohmage to a plan to have Jill's plan succeeding as stated by a tweet from Wes Craven himself. But if I did have the fight in the hospital, I would've had Y/N get into a even more intense fight with Sidney while the others were handling Jill. Y/N's death would've been getting thrown out a hospital window, falling while laughing manically, just like Jerome Valeksa.
That's pretty much it, everything else played mostly to how I wanted it to. Epilogue will only be there to set up for future squeals and some small 'Y/N and Jill stuff'. But I don't wanna sequel bait yet, so don't wait on my account.
