(it would've been us, dummy)

he really didn't know but sitting on the bench made him wonder many things and that overthinking led him to something really unexpected.

he was feeling overwhelmed, panicked fear was already built up with a wall. so high that beomgyu could barely see the end to the other side from down.

a tear rolled from beomgyu's eyes because he was felt scared. he didn't knew anything better and his anxiety made him cry without realization.

the person who was grasping for air earlier mindlessly sat on the same bench but at the far end corner of the bench.

it was taehyun, he was way too tired to even look at the person sitting next to him so he just sat there to catch some air.

beomgyu's eyes widened as he looked at the boy sitting in front of him "taehyun...? is that you ?" taehyun's mind back then went completely blank as he knew that voice all too well.

beomgyu shook his head, he must be going crazy calling someone out without even seeing their face but to his surprise taehyun immediately took off the paper bag and hugged beomgyu which was his second instinct after taking that bag off

he looked at beomgyu's eyes "w-why are you crying don't cry, i found you!"

beomgyu wiped his tears off as he smiled "i'm glad that you found me!!" taehyun pressed his lips.

"It was easy for anyone to tell it was you who was sitting here, I could see right through you because i like you so much. you thought i won't be able find you?"

beomgyu looked  at taehyun in disbelief "NO!? when did i say that"

"let me catch a breath then we'll go out since i think we are the first one who won" they both sat on the bench as silence enveloped them, it wasn't something that would make beomgyu any more out of it rather it kept him calm and he quickly sorted himself out.

taehyun smiled to himself which beomgyu found absurd "are you feeling better? don't cry again your eyes are already puffy" taehyun creased the lower part of beomgyu's eyes making the older to turn red in an instant.

"i'm o-okay" taehyun frowned "hyung if there's anything bothering you please tell me. i can lend you an ear you know" taehyun didn't knew where that courage was coming from but he decided that he'll be selfish live in his delusion till the end.

beomgyu stayed silent because he didn't had anything to say regarding that whole matter because he himself was lost "let's go! and no more rushing and running please"

beomgyu laughed at taehyun's request but then he reminded how the latter had been running here and there since this morning. "but I can't promise to be on the same pace as you"

beomgyu was greatful for taehyun, for respecting his silence and not answering his words. he smiled to himself. even though there was slow progress yet both beomgyu and taehyun felt content by it.

"who cares i won't run anymore and if i do you will be the one who will carry me back" taehyun said with a smudged look on his face and beomgyu decided to ignore that.

soon both the boys reached the auditorium and just as they expected they were the first one's to reach the audible room.

they saw their friends cheering them, beomgyu almost screamed as he saw hueningkai doing fast clapping like a penguin while yeonjun was jokingly choking soobin because he was frustrated.

"this could've been us you dummy" soobin patted older's head who was sulking don't worry we don't need to explain ourselves to anyone

"as long as we know what we exactly feel towards each other. its fine and just so you know i love you hyung" his words made yeonjun a mess. the older immediately pulled down his hands from soobin and started cheering to get out of the situation.

it wasn't like yeonjun was jealous, he wanted to have a special date with soobin on the amusement park but turns out both of them needed to know each other more since soobin was a huge introvert.
