It was way too painful and hard. all his mindset of talking things out to the older came crumbling down. he looked at his shoes and asked himself what was he even doing.

beomgyu placed one of his hand around taehyun's waist while the other still holding his hand. taehyun but his lower lip looking down at their feet dancing along a beat he didn't recognise.

"look at me"

beomgyu's eyes were dry, they had nothing but emptiness as they stared at taehyun's eyes after he looked up upon beomgyu calling him. the moment their eyes met the younger immediately jumped off like a current zapped in him.

because locking eyes with beomgyu was his last straw "i- i'm going out for some air" taehyun felt a huge lump of air suffocating him just stuck in his throat, therefore he ran away.

he pulled away from beomgyu but then the older still held his hand and taehyun looked at him questioning, he stared at them holding hands then back at beomgyu's face. taehyun almost cried as he looked at beomgyu almost begging him to let him go.

beomgyu calmly let go of taehyun nodding as he saw taehyun's quick steps towards the upper story of the house "what's up" yeonjun came from behind handing beomgyu a drink as he placed a on beomgyu's shoulder.

"piss off yeonjun hyung" yeonjun yeonjun leaned forward and looked at beomgyu's face which was looking at a certain direction "why're you so pressed what ha—"

beomgyu harshly removed yeonjun's hand ready to leave as he started to head for the main gate but the older grabbed his arm "i'm sorry please take these back" he gave both the drinks to the waiter taking beomgyu to room in the corner.

"ok what happened" yeonjun immediately said after closing the earning a yell from the other "fuck its taehyun. he suddenly pulled away while we were dancing and he looked like he was about to..." beomgyu ran his hand through his hair.

"hyung am i forcing myself on him?" yeonjun sighed but stared back when he looked at beomgyu just baffled at what he said. both the boys stared at each other for an audible moment before yeonjun broke the staring contest.

"sigh. what on earth beomgyu, are you crazy? there's no way you're forcing yourself on him...wanna hear something? i know you're aware of it too"

he tried to run far away from beomgyu's reach. even though taehyun knew running away wasn't gonna solve anything but just leave more scars he still was scared to face beomgyu.

taehyun panicked as he ran on the upper story of the house and saw a big balcony. he stepped for some fresh air to let it all out, he wanted to scream.

the lights were turned off and only the lights below the floor were illuminating the balcony area, taehyun sighed trying look for a cigarette but then he remembered that he barely smokes.

just when he was about to break out he heard someone panting, he slowly turned around checking his eyes if they were watery but his hand dropped from his eyes as he saw someone very familiar crouched on his knees "i-i have something to say...!!"

taehyun just stood there watching as beomgyu took a few seconds to stand back up and catch a breath. beomgyu and taehyun were almost five steps apart but taehyun was too scared to close that distance.

it felt like a safe space for him.

"okay so..." beomgyu paused ruffling the back of his hair "please hear me out and then you can leave if you want because i know you don't like being around me—"

taehyun looked up perplexed but it was late because his eyes already met beomgyu's and they were...softened? beomgyu's eyes were softened and they looked comforting that it allowed taehyun to just say his mind.

"when did i say that? i will never dislike being are y-you" taehyun cleared his throat as the air gradually started to get lighter and beomgyu smiled as he took a few steps forward.

"uhm taehyun...i don't know if i've still got this time or is it too late but i want you to know that i really really super really like you. from the day you accidentally dropped your cat i found you interesting but i never look too much into people because i'm scared of getting hurt...but that's not the important thing, what i'm sayin—"

taehyun came closer making beomgyu step back untill his body met the cold wall "hyung you like me?!" his eyes grew bigger as he kept on coming closer untill their bodies was centimetres apart.

beomgyu panicked and laughed nervously "y-yeah? ever since we won the first round of the couple competi—"

taehyun grabbed the older's face by both of his hands as he leaned in and placed his lips on beomgyu's in a sense of emergency. his mind went blank as he heard that beomgyu liked him. he couldn't control himself and without a fail reached for the older's lips.

beomgyu was a bit taken a back but then he picked up the pace and pulled taehyun closer by his waist, it started from a light kiss and turned into a hot mess. beomgyu chucked a little bit as he broke the kiss and taehyun snorted.

both the boys panting for air "your frame is so small i just realised it" taehyun scoffed at the latter's comment and looked at beomgyu's eyes again but they had changed.

the older looked taehyun's lips and then at the younger's eyes asking for his permission and taehyun nodded. before taehyun grasp onto the situation beomgyu pulled his head making him switch positions.

it was only then taehyun noticed how tall was beomgyu. his shoulders covered the entire frame of his body. taehyun really felt so comfortable around it. beomgyu's body almost enveloped him by now.

beomgyu was expressionless as he stared at taehyun's neck. he tilted his head to lean in a bit more to meet the younger's lips. beomgyu's hands started travelling through taehyun's body exploring it around but then it stopped and made a strong grip on taehyun's torso.

he left soft trails of kisses on taehyun's neck and went up to meet his lips "what...ARE YOU GUYS MAKING OUT?" yeonjun switched on the lights and taehyun pushed beomgyu away in panic.

beomgyu smiled winking at his bestfriend. taehyun just stared at yeonjun and beomgyu, his hair was a mess and so were his lips and neck. yeonjun cleared his throat "ehm you both please come down because its weird if none of my friends are there in the party...and taehyun fix up yourself because you're a mess haha"

hi guys!!! butterfly effect will have one last chapter. i tried writing a bit of a make out scene but idk if it worked out because i'm not good with those kind of stuffs 🥲
