Forced to be a pet

Part 9

I slowly wakes up and look around to notice that I'm in Oliver's lap. I see that he is sitting on the couch talking to Alex. Oliver looks down at me.

"I see someone's awake." He says with a smile. "Well, now that your awake I think it's time for us to head out."

"Where are we going?" I say kinda sleepily.

"First, we're going to the store to get stuff for you. Then we're going to my house." He tells me.

"Oh ok." I say then lay my head back on his shoulder.

"Bye Tai." Alex says as he pets me. "I'll miss you."

"Bye." I say as Oliver gets up and walks to the front door.

"Bye Alex." Oliver say as he walks out.

He walks over to his shiny red car parked in the driveway. He opens the back door and sets me down on the seat. He buckles me up then gets in the drives seat.

"First stop the store!" He say excitedly.

He pulls out of the driveway and starts to drive to the store. I look out the window to see the rich city sparkling in the sun from how clean it. While we drive we pass by houses, businesses, and I also see some rich people pass by with other kids like me on leashes. After a little we make it to the store. Oliver gets out then gets me out.

"Ok, since we're outside and going into the store you have to be on a leash." Oliver says as he clips a leash to my collar. "While we're here I'll let you pick out a new collar"

After he says that he starts to walk into the store. I follow him in and look around. This store has a lot more stuff in it then the store back home and it's much more nicer. I think. Oliver grabs a cart then looks at me.

"Do you want to sit in the cart while we shop?" He asks.

I look at the cart then nod. I mean what's the harm in riding in it and at least I wouldn't have to walk. I thought with a smile. Oliver picks me up and sets me down in the cart. He starts to push it to one of the aisles.

I guess this is the first adventure me and Oliver will have. I think.
