I walk along the streets of the downtown area of my city. I can smell the fresh spring air now that the cold season is over, the birds are quite lovely to listen to now that they are more active. I watch as others pass by to my left and to my right, students and others sitting at tables in the café and library to my right. To be honest I'm glad that winter is over, it made school miserable. All I had to wear was some sweatpants and a long sleeve with my vest over it, it's a good thing my teachers allowed it and didn't enforce the uniform policy more. Those skirts they hand out to us girls are a bit scratchy.

I spot a corner store up ahead to the left, I walk down and press the button to cross. Then I enter the store. The smells of different snacks and drinks fill my nose, smells that are fruity and some that are chocolaty or sour. I walk down the aisle to the left side of the store and look at the options. There's bags of chips, drinks, and some smoothies too! Though I'm not too hungry yet so I just pick out a strawberry smoothie for now. I go to the counter at the front and the employee greets me with a smile, I take out my wallet and pay for the drink before leaving.

Outside the store I stand at the corner, I unscrew the cap and take a small sip. A pleasant and very strong strawberry flavor fills my mouth, and maybe a hint of lemon too? I'm not too sure, but it sure is delicious. As I enjoy a few more sips, trying to slow myself down so it's not gone before I get home later, I start to get a weird feeling in my mind. A feeling like maybe I'm being watched? Or maybe it's a connection I feel with someone, I'm not sure.

For now though I cross the street and head over towards the neighborhood I live in, it's pretty far from where I'm currently at so I endure the long walk home. I walk up the front steps and knock on the door, I hope my parents are home at least. I don't hear a reply so I walk around to the back door, which thankfully is unlocked. I enter my lovely home and go to my room. I set my drink down on my desk next to my book and turn on my PC, I got it as a gift before my senior year started. My mom wanted to get me something nice so I can have some more fun at home, she knows I always loved computers, which makes it easier for me to write and read what I want. I spend the rest of today writing, well typing at least on my keyboard. I get up when I'm done and put my drink in the fridge in the kitchen, then I lay in my bed and fall asleep.

I stir in my sleep as my dreams focus on the weird feeling I got earlier in the day. I wake up bright and early, the sun shines into my face through the window. I raise my arm and hover it in front of my eyes, and with my other I close the curtain. I lay my head back on my pillow and stare up at the ceiling. I can hear my moms voice calling me out to breakfast. I get up and dressed and leave my room, I get my smoothie from yesterday from the fridge and sit at the table. A strong smell of bacon and eggs fills the room, my stomach growls a little as I sit down.

My mom asks me how I slept, a weird question at that. But I know she means well, so I tell her what I always do, that I slept well. I don't bother to tell her about my creepy dream, I don't want her to worry I'm being stalked, though a part of me is thinking that's true. I quietly eat at the table, my parents eat quickly as well and head out for work. My mom pulls me in and kisses my forehead before she leaves, I say goodbye to them as they leave out the door. I don't have many plans for today, it's Sunday Afterall. I'm dreading Monday though, I don't want to return to school. But the spring festival is coming up right? I think that my classmates are all excited for it, along with some of the other classes too. I guess it's not so bad, I can always rely on Rezz and Seberina to let me be with them.

Taking my last bite of my breakfast, I get up and wash my plate. With nothing to do today I put my phone in my pocket and take my home key with me as I leave. I lock up and walk back into the city, back to the same spot I went to before. Today feels normal compared to before, no weird feelings, no one watching me today. I sigh with relief thinking I was just stressed out from the increase of school work the last couple weeks. I round a corner across the corner store from yesterday, when I do I can feel a gentle breeze. I lean against the building, a small post office, and I close my eyes. Taking in a deep breath I listen to the footsteps around me, I hear more birds than last time which is nice. I've always enjoyed watching them during my boring classes.
