He thinks of back when he was younger. "What did I like to do when I was a kid?" A memory flashes in his mind of his father teaching him to ride a bike. He remembers the feeling of looking back and seeing that his dad had let go of the bike. Charlie was riding the bike all by himself without realization. In that moment he remembers the complete freedom he felt that day on that bike. Something he has not felt in a long time. Having this realization showed him how truly depleted his soul felt. He then remembers the bike shop that he sees everyday on his way to work. He heads there right away. He enters the shop and leaves with a brand-new bike. Charlie cannot take his eyes off the bike. Something about it is so inviting. He hops on and begins to pedal. He feels it again. The pure freedom and joy. The fresh air flooding across his face. The wonderful feeling floods his body so intensely it is almost overwhelming. There is a smile on his face that screams pure happiness. His eyes lit just like a little kid on Christmas morning. He could physically feel his soul being satisfied. It felt like drinking a glass of cold water after a dehydrating slumber. He soars through the street peddling faster and faster. Thinking about absolutely nothing except how good he feels. Charlie did it. He found something that he truly enjoys doing.
