Over the weekend Charlie receives a call. He answers and it is his boss. His boss says "Hey Charlie, I read your report last night and there is something I need to tell you. It was the best I have ever read. I must ask, what did you do to make it so good?" Charlie replied, "Well funny enough I missed the bus and focused a little less on work." His boss says, "Interesting, well I guess you just needed a break." Charlie says, "Yes, seems so." The next day Charlie and his new friend were going for a walk. They pass those same shops that he goes by every day on his way to work. The one shop on that strip that he never went to was the cat shop. There is a good reason for this. Charlie hates cats. He would never think to go in there. As a kid he watched a cat scratch his father right in the eye. As a young kid it scarred him.Since then, he was always afraid of them. He swore to never have one. His new friend needed to go in there. That is where she buys her cat food. Charlie went with her because he thought it would be weird to wait outside. He was terrified. Something he vowed to hate. To be fearful of. Now in the middle of dozens of them. The anxiety floods his body and his heart is pumping. Pumping so fast it feels like it could explode. Fearing his friend will hear his heartbeat he stands his ground. His friend looks over seeing that he is uncomfortable. She asks if he is okay. Charlie opens his mouth to respond and throws up.
