Here we go, the final chapter regarding the events of the first movie. It'll probably be a while until the next entry. I am trying to make the next part a story based around Pokémon, and the only reason I've uploaded these chapters so quickly was because I had already posted them once before on fanfiction dot net. I'm not exactly the best of writers, so it'll be a hot minute before I finish this original story (I had the first movie and help from the transcript online previously. Making something original for this world is going to take me a bit).
For now though, I'll give you guys a bit more information about the Pokémon end of things. Riley and Lyla's home country is known as Ransei, and the name actually is present in the Pokémon games, but only in the game Pokémon Conquest. Ransei is the name of the region this spinoff crossover with Nobunaga's Ambition takes place in, and the region is divided into 17 kingdoms for each of the 17 Pokémon types at the time; the region itself is in the shape of Arceus. I honestly really liked the game, it was a lot of fun. The version of Ransei in the context of Aura of the Dragon, pretty much replaces Japan in this world, and all of the Pokémon regions are a part of the region.
The biggest thing you guys have probably been wondering about is how Pokémon moves work in this world. Moves will be more in the form of techniques that are taught, and only capable of being used by Pokémon of a similar biology, outside of more Fighting Type moves that is; there aren't any actually typings though. Zoroark have their illusionary abilities and Lucario have their attunement with Aura like we've seen in both the Lucario movie and in the anime (though Aura is not exclusive to them, as others can learn things like the Aura Sphere as well. Even a certain tortoise learned how to use it). A Pokémon like Paul (an Electivire) is able to produce bioelectricity that can be channeled into punches and kicks, a Cinderace can do the same with fire, or a Beartic with ice. Overall, a Pokémon themself will be much more nerfed than normal, and mostly limited to their canon typing for techniques (TL:DR - Pokemon are very nerfed outside of some exceptions).
It'll be in a separate story, but I'll be sure to put a small preview chapter at the end of this story to let you guys know when it's close. For now though? It's time to bring a close to the Tai Lung Saga.
Also if you remember from Chapter 7 I mentioned I had given a riddle initially on the other website. The riddle revealed that Cortex was a Zygarde Core, but I no one ever responded asking about what I was referring to in the riddle.
Riddle: Whether 6 or 7 it doesn't matter, for 8 is when he shines. Should you try to fight him though, you face a wrath divine.
The first line regarded Zygarde's Shiny, as he was introduced in Generation 6 but could not be shiny-hunted until the Crown Tundra DLC in Generation 8. The "wrath" is based on it's signature move Land's Wrath, and the "divine" refers to it being a legendary Pokémon.
With that out of the way, time for the finale.
Disclaimer: I do not own Pokémon or Kung Fu Panda, nor the art used. Any OC's however, are mine unless stated otherwise.

Chapter 11: Tai Lung's Legendary Battle
The sun rose as Riley reached the top of the stairs; the uppermost set having been destroyed with a portion of it missing.
'He's already here.' Riley deduced.
Increasing his speed, he reached the entrance to the Hall of Warriors. As he looked in from the entrance, he saw the room was a mess. Pillars were missing large portions, rubble and traces of flames scattered along the floor, and a rather muscular snow leopard -presumably the Monster of the Hour- was currently choking Shifu by the pool beneath the dragon statue. Tai Lung drew his hand back, preparing to finish off Shifu.
