By the time I start the car Sammy is already gone on his way to find iHop. I turn on the radio because I don't want nor do I need to hear Dean's speech about how I need to talk about my family's death to him or Sam. "I'M BURNIN I'M BURNIN FOR YOU!" I shout while singing along to Blue Oyster Cult, Dean jumps as I shout which I find funny so I smile as wide as I can. "Come on Dean, sing with me!" I say with excitement in my voice. Dean smiles and he joins in. We both sing " Burn out the day, burn out the night, I don't see no reason to put up a fight."
Dean and I are about half way there when Dean tells me to pull the car over and I can tell its speech time, so I do. " Dakota we need to talk." Dean says with a certain fire in his eyes. " Yeah Dean I get it, I need to talk about my feeling, but you know what, I'm not going sit and talk about my feeling while braiding Sam's hair. I'm tired of having this convers-" then suddenly Dean puts his soft round lips on mine and I feel the world around me melt.
"That's what I wanted to talk about Dakota, I didn't come along to give you a crap lecture, I came here with you to tell you how I feel about you." Dean explains.
" Well I can kinda guess how you feel about me Dean." I say.
"And?" Dean questions. Immediately after he questions me I grab his face and pull him toward me. I kiss him like I am certain that I am going to die tomorrow, Deans reaction was priceless. Next thing I know Dean picks me up, I wrap my legs around his large built body, he then gently puts me down on the hood. I lay down letting him crawl over me we continue to lock lips over and over. I place my hands on his firm back as we continue to kiss I can feel his necklace rubbing on my skin. Then I remember that Sammy gave him the necklace when they were just kids, I remember because I was sitting on the other side of the room. I break from our kiss and look into his glistening green eyes and I whisper "I've been waiting for a long time to say this Dean." "Say what?" He questions. "That I love you Dean Winchester and only you. It's been you since we were kids." I say with a lovey dovey smile on my face. Then I flush and the flush continues down my face to my throat then to my chest. Dean smiles then drops his lips to my ear and whispers "I love you Dakota Rogers."
