Alux walked out to the kitchen. There he saw Katie and another woman, presumably Mae, preparing food.

Alux: Is there anyway I could help?
Katie: Well, you could peel the potatoes with Mae.
Alux: On it!

He rushed over to the countertop where Mae was. He held up a potato and was about to start peeling.

Mae: You're gonna cut your finger if you peel it that way.
Alux: No I'm not.

He then started peeling the potato, only to have cut his finger.

Alux: Ow.
Mae: I told you so.
Alux: Yeah yeah.
Katie: Are ya'll trying to start trouble?
Alux and Mae: No ma'am.
Katie: Alright. Now her back to prepping dinner.

Alux and Mae went back to peeling potatoes. Soon, dinner was ready. Ben came back inside from his work.

Leo: Dad! Did you put up the spell?
Mae: It's not a spell, dad put up the fence.
Ben: Yeah, I put up the spell bud.
Leo: Told you!
Katie: Now kids, no squabbling. It's time for dinner. Now sit down youngins.

They all sat down at the table to eat. The meal was fantastic. Alux was blown away by the meal Katie made. He had fancy meals, sure, but he had never tasted the magic that was homemade meals. Alux kept shoving the food in his mouth that it made Leo look like a gent.

Katie: Wow, slow down there hon, the food ain't going anywhere.
Alux: Sorry, its just, I never had a meal quite like this.
Katie: Well I'm glad you liked it. Now, if everyone's done, we can have pie.
Leo: Oh boy, pie!

Just then, Leo let out a yawn.

Katie: Looks like someone's tired.
Leo: Am not!

Leo then let out another yawn.

Katie: Looks like it's time to get to bed, mister.
Leo: But I want pie.
Katie: Alright, then only for tonight, you can take a slice of pie to your room.
Leo: Yay!

He then ran to his room.

Alux: He really like pie, huh.
Katie: Yeah, he does.

Ben walked over and put his hand on Alux's shoulder.

Ben: Hey, could we talk later?
Alux: Yeah, we can talk.
Ben: Good. I have a few questions for you.
