Zero's POV

The next week, I recorded all the conversations I could get between Team Dark. It was just boring a military conversation. But if it meant that Starline guy would reunite with my bio father it was worth it. While walking to school today, I came across Starline and proudly handed him the USB.

"Good job boy, now let me bring you to your real father." He told me, holding out his hand. 

"Yes, I want to meet him so bad," I said, smiling at him.

"Now let me take you to GUN prison, where I now have enough strength to help break him out of prison." He announced, signalling for me to join him in his truck. 

We then headed to a high-security jail with barbed-wired electric fences.  Suddenly all the guards fell when Starline revealed his glove to them. It wasn't long before we were in a room with several prison cells. Stopping at one, he smiled at me.

"Oh, your Daddy is behind here." He told me, placing a code in the door and activating the door to open.

I was then greeted by the sight of a jackal who looked very similar to me. 

"Are You my father?" I asked, approaching him.

"Zero?" He responded, standing in front of me. 

"Yes I'm Zero, I want you and my Mother back together," I replied, wrapping my arms around him for a hug.

"Shadow is evil, he needs to be stopped he stole you and your mother from me." He told, returning the hug. 

"I know, he seems to like my sister Ruby more than me," I tell him.

"I took care of your mother while she carried Ruby, I planned to raise Ruby as my own," he announced, stepping out of the cell. 

"Was Mother with you when I was a toddler?" I asked, remembering the visions I saw earlier this week.

"I saved her after Shadow had forced himself on her, she wanted me to raise both you and Ruby." He told me, walking out of the prison, following Starline. 

"Why did she end up back with him?" I questioned. 

"Because he has money, while I was a broke outlawed jackal." He said.

"I feel you, everyone at school makes fun of me for being a sly Jackal." I declared.

"Yes we jackals suffer the worst discrimination, also Shadow killed my whole jackal squad before the great war." He told me, shredding a tear.

"What!" I exclaimed, my mouth dropping.

"We were just earning some extra cash, guarding Eggman's base, then along came Shadow and his team's dark allies. He killed them all only leaving me alive. He then beat me up and told me to never show my face again. I then started a war out of revenge and wore a mask. During that time I rescued your mother and we fell in love. I cared for her while trying to gain control of the world. I was so excited when she conceived you, we planned to make many more jackal offspring. Until along came Shadow and his bags of money and gifts, convincing him to live with them. I did save her, but after Ruby's birth, he stole her from me again. My heart was broken, and now I've spent 10 years in prison waiting to reunite with her. " He said, telling me his and my mother's backstory.

"Don't Dad, I will bring Mum back to you," I told him, hating the edgy hedgehog more than anything now. 

How could that pathetic hedgehog try to raise me after ruining my true father's life? I hated him so much, maybe me and Dad could get revenge and rule this world together!
