Finally, I give you Chapter Five! I'll be updating this book more often after I finish writing my other story, I promise! Unless if I'm busy, of course. I hope you enjoy!

(Winter's POV)

"Come on, Winter, music class!" Qibli, the sandy-haired, freckled boy who had been my best friend since middle school (not like I'd ever tell him that, though), grabbed my arm and began to drag me down the hallway to my next dreaded class, music. I had no clue on why I had let Qibli talk me into taking music class. Music class. Seriously? What was I supposed to do, sing? I didn't sing. I didn't play instruments, either, though I supposed that I could play the piano if necessary.

"I'm coming, Qibli." I grumbled, shaking his tanned arm off of my pale one. Qibli often teased me about how I must live underground or something, being so pale. He was the weird one. Seriously, who even is that tan? Anyways, I strode past Qibli, my chin tilted up slightly, and Qibli quickly caught up to me, saying, "Winter, no need to act superior. This is music class. We're all learning to play instruments and sing! It'll be awesome. Now come on, we'll be late!"

"Since when do you care about being late?" I grumbled under my breath as Qibli darted ahead and slipped into the classroom. I followed him, pulling my bangs over my eyes and crossing my arms as I stepped in, taking the seat next to Qibli. Around two minutes later, our teacher walked in. Mrs. Orchid, if I remembered correctly.

"Hello, class. Today, I decided to have you all sing. You'll come up one at a time, say your name and the song you'll be singing, and then, well, sing it! No need to care about how you sound, I just want you all to do your best. Now, if you'll come up when I call your name."

Great. That was just my luck. Why was I taking this class again? Right, Qibli. I was a bit busy glancing at the new girl, that pretty one with the black hair and green eyes who had stood up to Morrowseer earlier. "Moonwatcher Galaxy, if you'll come up first, please?" The girl rose up, pushed her hair out of her face, and walked up to the front of the classroom. "Um-Hi, I'm Moon, and I'll be singing Clarity by Zedd ft. Foxes."

"High dive into frozen waves where the past comes back to life

"Fight fear for the selfish pain, it was worth it every time

"Hold still right before we crash 'cause we both know how this ends

"A clock ticks 'til it breaks your glass and I drown in you again"

I listened silently through the entire song, amazed by her voice. She was good. When she finished, Mrs. Orchid looked at her list of students again and I slid down in my chair, trying to be unnoticeable. "Winter Snow?" I groaned softly, shoving my chair backwards and stepping to the front. I frantically tried to think of a song, and the first thing I thought of was Let it Go, but obviously I was not singing that.

Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain
I leave my heart open but it stays right here empty for days
She told me in the morning she don't feel the same about us in her bones
It seems to me that when I die these words will be written on my stone

And I'll be gone, gone tonight
The ground beneath my feet is open wide
The way that I been holding on too tight
With nothing in between

I took a deep breath, before singing the next line, and, after that, the entire song.
