~Early September~

"...when starting, opening or planning—wherever you are in your journey, you want to make sure everything is thoroughly thought out before even announcing anything publicly." Professor Ezekiel said as he briefly wrote out notes for his students on the large standing chalk board. He liked doing things the old school way, he learned as you write it out the easier it is for people to grasp what they're learning.

"So brainstorming?" Ezekiel turned around to see one of his students in the front row of his class spoke up, twiddling with their mechanical pencil.

He smirked and flipped his hand in a "kind of" motion along with his head.

"Broadly—but in a more organized and strategic manner. There are four primary functions of business Management. Can anybody name them?" He asked looking around the room until someone raised their hand. "Yes, Carter!"

She slowly brought her hand down, "Is planning one of 'em?" She questioned.

Ezekiel shrugged. "I don't know, is it?" Carter smacked her lips and sunk in her seat causing Ezekiel to chuckle. "Anybody else wanna throw out an answer instead of a question?"

"I fasho know organizing and leadership skills are two of 'em." Ezekiel's class clown announced with a smug look as he glanced at Carter who sneakily flicked him off.

"Correct, they are. Last one..." He dragged, eyes dancing around the room. He sighed when no one else looked to have had the answer. "Y'all definitely gone fail the midterms, it's controlling. None of your functions work if you can't take control of them."

It seemed as if everyone in the room gasped in realization and Ezekiel shook his head with a small smile.

"Maybe y'all should write them down, as it's important to know if you ever want to succeed." He hinted at them with a wink and like clockwork, keyboards were being banged against and pencils started scribbling on paper.

30 minutes later class had been dismissed and Ezekiel was glad since it was his last one of the day. After the last student of his left, he blew out a tired sigh but was proud he'd made it through another successful day of teaching.

Professor Ezekiel Queen of Business Administration, and Accounting at Bethune Cookman University in Florida.

Teaching was something he enjoyed in his young adult years when he was in college, hence him being a coach for the basketball team at Lincoln High back in New York.

He couldn't lie and say he saw himself here, his first thought was to open and run multiple clubs throughout New York then start working on opening an online course to help others build their Business, and while he was able to do all of that, he was also given an opportunity to fill in at BCU's business department being recognized for his incredible work with his nonprofitable online course.
