CHAPTER THIRTEEN ! . . . 💋
Adrien was partially glad to have escaped the awkwardness in the bakery. He wasn't saying he didn't enjoy Alya's presence, he was the one he was worried about. Adrien couldn't help but be awkward everywhere he went.
Walking down the sidewalk with multiple thoughts running through his mind, a familiar convertible had the chance to pull up beside him, "Hi, Adrien!"
"Hi, Chloé," Adrien said quietly, approaching the car. "did you secretly attach a tracking device to me or something?"
Chloé gave a ridiculous laugh, "No?" she put the car in park and went to rummage through her bag sitting in the passenger seat, pulling out a paper and shaking it in the blondes direction. "My daddy rented a boat. Want to come?"
"I—"
"Great!" She cut him off, moving her bag, patting the now free passenger seat.
Adrien groaned quietly to himself, moving to get inside the car. Chloé drove off as soon as the door slammed shut, grinning.
"This'll be so fun!"
Chloé had forgot to mention that the boat her dad rented out was just for Chloé. Once they stepped foot on the hardwood flooring of the boat, Adrien realized. He only came in hopes that Marinette would be here with Sabrina.
He knew he was stupid for assuming Marinette would hangout with Chloé anyway.
Chloé led Adrien to the front of the ship, with lounge chairs and beach towels aligning them. It was a pretty sight, but the blonde couldn't help but think that he wanted to be here with someone else.
"Adrien," Chloé called, moving toward his figure sitting on one of beach chairs with two iced teas in her hands. "got you some tea!"
Adrien gave her a small smile, taking the cold glass from her hand. "And just how much sugar is in this tea?"
Chloé gave a genuine shrug as she took a sip, taking a seat in the chair right across from the boy. Adrien softly set the glass down on one of the tables, "I should really watch my... figure."
Chloé scoffed, "Yeah, sure." she said as she sat her glass right beside his. "You should probably drink something, Adrien. You're stuck on this boat with me all day."
Adrien's eyes widened, "All day?"
