HEATHER
JJ ARRIVED at her house early the next morning with flowers, he thought it felt right. the pogues had been wondering were jj was spending his time, as he barely hung out with them anymore unless it was past the hours of 4pm. he knocked on the door and mr tate answered, "hello jj." he smiled, "hello mr T, is lila home?" he asked softly, "yes but she has a hangover so be careful." her dad let jj in.
JJ KNOCKED on her bedroom door, "come in!" she yelled with a raspy voice, she turned to the door as it opened "oh. its you." she said staring blankly, last night she kinda left him on a cliff hanger but in real life, "i got you something" jj said sitting himself on her bed next to her, and he handed her the flowers, "thank you. i would have prefered a breakfast burrito but that works." she smiled softly knowing what the flowers meant. "oh- uhm, i can order you one." he said embarrassed, "im joking jj." she smiled softly, "do you want to spend the day with a hungover me in bed? or you can go see your friends." she smiled not really caring what one he chose, "hmm, the first option." he smiled going closer too her.
LILA AND jj were talking for hours when he got a call, "its JB one sec, hey john b what is it? ahh ok, can i bring a friend? its a surprise okay bye!" he hung up, "well it looks like we are going to john b's" jj smiled at lila, "me! oh god no." she started to panic. "just get dressed we're leaving in 5." he laughed at her while leaving her room to let her change, "where you going?" she asked "to give you time to get dressed?' he said blankly, "i dont mind dont worry." she smiled and he came back in and sat on his phone until she got dressed, she was admiring a ring on jj's hand when he looked up, "what is it?" he smiled at her, "its just that ring it looks really nice." she smiled, he took of his ring and put im on her middle finger as it was too big for her ring finger, "there you go!" he smiled brightly, "no i cant take it." she said awkwardly, "just take it and shut up." he said in a joking way.
JJ GAVE her a helmet for his motorcycle, she was scared as fuck but didnt show it she just held onto his hips and hoped for the best, "you okay there tate?" he asked as they started. "mhm." she said scared for two reasons, one too meet the pogues and two to fall off ths motorcycle "you'll be fine dont worry." he said as they pulled up, she could see the pogues waiting outside for them.
THEY WALKED up the steps too the chateu, "you have got too be shitting me." kie said in disgust, lila just kind stared into space, "be nice." he stared daggers at kie, jj sat down and gestured for her to sit next to him on the outdoor sofa thing, she just kinda sat down awkwardly and jj put a hand on her knee for support that kinda calmed her down.. "hey lila.." pope said in a nice way, "hey." she smiled, kie was just staring daggers at her, lila chose too put her earphones in and just sat on her phone as they were catching up. "so this is where you've been hanging out." john b nodded towards lila, jj smiled and looked at her, "mhm.." "you together?" john b asked, jj just shook his head.
LILA WHISPERED in jj's ear, "what am i doing here?" jj laughed, but whispered back, "we are going surfing." lila just nodded her head. "so. lila. you like him?" kie said in a bitchy ass tone, jj was about too say something, "in a friend way." lila looked at jj, he looked hurt, "okay you guys ready too go surfing'' john b asked "i dont know? can princess over here surf?" kie said again in the same bitchy tone, "mhm." lila smiled still sitting really close too jj.
THEY ALL got in the twinkie lila still sitting next too jj, as the van started driving lila grabbed jj's hand and started playing with his rings, "you ok?" he whispered so only she would hear, "yep." she replied. "so lila, how well would you say you can surf?" pope asked politely, "well i mean my dad sent me too a surfing camp when i was 12, and i got a few medals. so kinda well?" she smiled, "you went to surfing camp?" jj asked tilting his head. "yeah." she stared at him.
WHEN THEY got to the beach they surfed for a couple hours. and john b and pope were impressed by her surfing, jj was just mesmorised and kie still didnt like her. "i have curfew guys, i gotta go." she smiled, "im walking you home." jj said, "okay doke." shw smiled at him as they walked off.
THE WALK was good, "i liked your friends they were nice." lila said, "i told you, you would be fine." he smiled, "yeah. i just wish kie wasnt such a cunt." she stared into the path they were walking, "yeah she's like that don't worry about her." he stared at her hand, "hey jj?" she turned to him, "mmh?" he replied, "who would you have kissed in truth or dare?" "hmm, you?" he smiled at her, "you're joking? right?" she turned too him, "not at all." he smiled, "stop walking for a minute." she grabbed his hand and he stopped, jj knew what was about to happen and he leaned down and kissed her, it wasn't long, but it wasn't short either, but they both enjoyed it.
THE REST of the walk was silent but they both had massive smiles, as they walked up too the front door, lila turned, "do you wanna stay over?" she smiled, "sure." he smiled back.
