SARAH AND lila were walking back to lilas, it was a silent walk. tears were slowly falling down lilas cheeks, and sarah was holding her hand, they slowly walked up her drive way, and lila unlocked the door it was silent until she saw her father on the floor, "dad! dad! sarah call an ambulance, now." lila checked if her dad was concise. he wasn't, so then she checked his breathing, he wasn't and she immediately started CPR, "dad! wake up!" lila was screaming in tears, "lila the ambulance is coming move to the side and let me do it." sarah kinda shoved her too the side because her best friend was in tears, and continued doing CPR it wasn't working, and sarah was losing hope.
THE AMBULANCE quickly arrived and took him too the hospital, sarah drove lila separately , "he's dead. sarah, he's dead." lila said in an emotionless tone, "lila. you're not sure of that." sarah said back more sim pathetically, lila was just staring at the ambulance in front of her, silently tears fell down her cheeks, lila checked her phone and there was about 50 missed calls from jj, she texted him.
LILA- you've been fired, from being out gardener.
JJ- lila, i'm so so so sorry, i love you so fucking much i'm sorry.
LILA- my father is dead.
and then she switched off her phone
THE POGUES POV —
"fuck!" jj yelled angry as fuck, "everyone was just watching him throw shit, he hadnt done anything like this before, he saw he had a text from lila, and quickly unlocked his phone and seen he had been fired, he texted her back saying, "lila, i'm so so so sorry, i love you so fucking much i'm sorry." lila quicky replied, "my father is dead", "shit." jj said realising what she had said, "what?" pope questioned, "her dad is dead..." he stared at a wall before breaking down again.
BACK TO sarah and lila, "my dad is dead." first she said emotionless, "my dad is dead!" she started screaming and crying, sarah pulled over, and just hugged her bestfriend, as she cried into her arm.
WHEN THEY arrived at the hospital the doctors and paramedics said they tried everything, but he had passed away. lila fell into her bestfriends arms and cried for a half hour before sarah walked her back to the car, "you're staying at my house tonight." sarah hugged her tighter, lila nodded not being able to speak, sarah drove them home and took lila up too bed, lila immediately crashed as she was so tired, sarah was fully sober by this point tho. she walked downstairs and told rose everything that had happend, "that poor girl. she can stay as long as she needs." rose said sympathetically, "thanks rose." sarah waked back upstairs, and jj was calling her, "what the fuck do you want." sarah answered, "please let me talk to her." jj was crying, "no. you brought this on yourself." sarah rolled her eyes, "sarah please." jj contimued to cry, "call me tomorrow, and we will sort something out." sarah sighed before hanging up.
THE NEXT morning, sarah made lila sime pancakes, she didnt know if she was gonna eat or not but ahe brought ut upstairs anyway, there was a knock on the door, rose answered a few seconds later she yelled, "sarah get down here!" sarah wuicly ran down and saw who it was, "hello mrs tate." sarah said in shock. it was lilas mom, "hello sarah darling where is my daughter?" hermione tate asked, "shes upstairs, i think she might want a hug so ill take you up." sarah led her to her room and lila immediately smiled, it wasnt her usual happy smile, it was more of her relieved smile."hi mommy.." lila said, in a relieved voice, "hi honey." she got in bed and hugged her, lila always had a lot of hate in her heart for her mom because she left her and her dad alone, but now she had seen her face all that hate went away, her mom rubbed lilas hair.
pogues pov-
JJ WASNT speaking, which wasn't like him, everyone wasn't speaking for that matter. they were all silently looking at eachother, "uhm.. im gonna go home" jj said, awaiting for his father at home, kie was about to tell him not too and then remembered her opinion wouldn't matter too him.
WHEN HE got too his house he slowly opened the door, hoping his father was asleep, "boy where have you been!" his father yelled, "john b's.." he didn't make eye contact, "for 5 months!?" his dad slapped him across the face, causing his nose to bleed.
LILAS POV-
HER MOM had took her home, she was in her bed she was in pain, then she heard a knock on the door, her mom was in the shower so she got up to answer when she opened the door it was jj, she immediately tried to slam the door in his face but he pushed it back open, that's when she noticed the cuts and bruises on his face, lila knew what had happened, "come in." she rolled her eyes as she turned around, she went into the kitchen and got the first aid kit, "sit there." she told him to sit on the kitchen stool, jj didn't speak, he only need to see her face, lila slowly cleaned his cuts with rubbing alcohol, "ow!" jj yelled, "shut up, my mom is literally upstairs." she slapped his leg, "wait your moms here?" jj questioned, "not that it's your business but yes." she rolled her eyes, "lila. i'm sorry." he stared at her with soft eyes, "yeah, well you can be as sorry as you want i'm not fucking forgiving you, i was a fucking bet, and if it wasn't for kie, i would have never found out. now leave." she said walking back upstairs.
