Hey so this is my first official story for wattpad I hope peole will read it and I hope you like it comments and feedback are much appriciated. I'm currently just up loading the prologue but I should start work on capter one pretty soon.

Prologue

“Alpha Richards, Alpha Richards I must speck with you” Shouted the man as he pounded on the pack house door. The alpha rose from his sleep with a growl. It was the dead of night and rain pounded heavily on the roof; whoever knocked at his door better have something pretty dam important to say. His mate and Luna of the pack rolled over in her sleep sensing his absence. The Alpha leaned over and gently stroked down the bridge of her nose soothingly, she was currently pregnant there 4th child and did not wish to disturb her sleep. Silently he crept from the room hurrying down the stairs flinging the front door open.

Despite the blackness of the night werewolves had excellent night vision and the Alpha could clearly see the drenched figure of his third in command, Mason Jones. “What is it Mason it’s the middle of the night couldn’t it have waited till morning” Mason stepped forward so he was partially sheltered by the porch shivering slightly as the rain dripped down his back.

“ I’m sorry Alpha but there’s been a rough attack on the human town a couples been killed” The Alpha paled in response there had not been a rough attack in years

“ What impossible, you’d better lead the way” Mason nodded in response and lead the Alpha back to his car.

It was a short 5 minute ride to town but for the Alpha it felt like a life time as he thought about the attack and what it could mean. Mason pulled up to a house on the out skirts of town backing onto the forest.

“The rouge must have come from the around the back Kyle caught his sent as he was running the tree line” The Alpha nodded in response as he moved towards the house. What met him inside was not a pretty sight; the back door was open which looked like the entrance point blooded paw prints could be seen leaving the same way as well. It looked like the he put up a good fight for a human noted the Alpha as he caught sight of a blooded knife.

“The other body’s though hear” Mason gestured towards what looked like had been the sitting room. The 2nd body was female, couldn’t have been much younger than Abby the packs Luna. Sighing the Alpha turned back to Mason

“contact Peter and Ray they should be able to use their positions to form some sort of cover up the last thing we need is a town wide panic. I’ll organise a pack meeting tomorrow to decide what to do.”

Mason began making the necessary calls while the Alpha made a closer inspection of the scene. He wanted to be able to give a full report to the elders and the rest of his council tomorrow. Not that he didn’t trust Kyle and Mason to have done so as well but despite being Alpha he didn’t like to sit around having other do all the hard work.

Mason hung up the phone on his last call “Peter says he can down play the investigation at the station and Ray is already falsifying an autopsy report for both of them, he should have it done by morning”  

“ ah good I don’t think there’s much else to do hear Ray should be in with a cleanup crew tomorrow. Now I’d suggest we both head back home and sleep what’s left of this night, it’s going to be a long day tomorrow”

Both the Alpha and Mason headed towards the front door as if to leave but then the creak of a door sounded though the night making them both freeze. The Alpha glanced towards Mason
