"Y/N, look who's looking at you!" your closest friend, Y/BF/N, said slowly, smiling smugly.
You appeared perplexed, but as you turned around to see the one and only, Neville Longbottom, you felt a rush of heat run up your neck.
You notice him smiling at you, but water falls from his mouth, forcing him to look down hastily and turn pink. (I know Harry did this in one of the movies but it seemed like something Neville would do so I'm using it).
Your pals are amused by the scene they just witnessed. You turn around to tell them to be quiet as you return your gaze to Neville.

You made your way out of the Great Hall until your name was called.
"Y/N! "Y/N, please wait!" When you turn around, you notice Neville waving his hand in the air, trying to get your attention.
In the middle of the corridor, he eventually catches up to you.
"Good day, Neville." With a pleasant smile, you say to him.
"So, as you know, the Triwizard Tournament is taking place-- and there's a Yule Ball right around the corner, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me...?" Neville inquired, his face flushed as he gazed down at the floor.
"Of course, Neville." With a tiny giggle spilling out of your mouth, you said.
"Great! I'll see you at 8 p.m. in Gryffindor's common room." He stated this before kissing your cheek and walking away, leaving you smiling as you made your way to the common area.
It's been two days since Neville invited you to the Yule Ball. And today was the day you were going to dance with him. If you said you weren't nervous, you'd be lying to yourself.
You examined your reflection in the full-length mirror in front of you. You took a peek at yourself.
A maroon dress that hangs just so on you, opened in the back and coupled with black heels. Your Y/H/C is slung over one shoulder, your makeup is bare but for a matte maroon lipstick.
