Lucian Dardanos' POV
Lavinia fell asleep half an hour ago, now I'm working in my office with her asleep on my lap. As Alpha King I must hold an annual ball every year, that means all the Alphas, Lunas, Betas, Gammas, Deltas and omegas and all other wolves attends with their Alpha. I know Lavinia used to have an abusive Alpha, but she didn't say who. Nobody can harm her, she's the Luna Queen. And an Ultima, the most powerful she wolf in the world.
She's my Ultima, and always will be. I have a feeling once we mate her powers will awaken and she'll need lots of practice controlling them. Silver wolves are the most powerful wolves the royal family has seen. Yet the most powerful wolf is curled up asleep on my lap. My Gamma Lyra enters my office without knocking.
"Has anyone ever taught you how to knock Lyra?" I snarl at her. "Yes Alpha, my apologies. Faye is here to speak to you about something." She apologises. Great, my annoying runt of a sister is here. She only happened because my father cheated on my mother and that got himself a one way ticket to die. "Let her in" I lowly growl. "Shh, stop growling you big wolfie" Lavinia mumbles in her sleep and Faye enters.
"Brother! It's been a while hasn't it?" Faye smiles at me but I only glare at her. "Yes it has, what do you want?" I snarled. "I've met my mate" Her smile grew. "Congratulations, who is it?" I asked, my curiosity peaked. "Alastair. Could you please let him out?" She begged. "Not right now Faye, I don't want to awaken the Ultima" I told her and she peaked over my desk to see Lavinia asleep.
"YOU MET YOUR MATE AND NOBODY TOLD ME!!" She screamed with excitement. Lavinia slowly opened her eyes, confused why someone was screaming. "I'm going to kill you Faye" I growled at her. Lavinia lifted her head up from my lower chest, her eyes met with mine. "W-What's all the screaming about..?" She mumbled sleepily. "Nothing love, go back to sleep" She hummed and laid her head against my lower chest again, slowly going back sleep.
"Is she the silver wolf I've heard about?" Faye questioned and I nodded. "Only a silver wolf can be a Ultima you thick cunt" I grumbled. My office door was pushed open slightly and Maeve ran in crying. I teleported Lavinia onto the couch and picked Maeve up, placing her on my lap. "What's wrong kiddo?" I asked her concerned why she's crying. "L-L-Lucas kissed another girl daddy..." She sobbed into me, grabbing my shirt in her fists.
"Who's this? Don't tell me you already got your mate pregnant and this is your daughter" Faye mumbled. "She's the Suprema. My mate's daughter, she had this little one before she met me. And on another note, I'm going to go 'speak' with some boy" I introduced Faye to Maeve. "Maeve, baby this is your auntie Faye, she'll look after whilst I deal with something yes?" She nodded and I passed her to Faye to calm her down.
I strode out of my office, anger radiating off of me. The guards bowed their heads as I walked past feeling my anger radiating. I got to the play room, I lent against the doorframe and knocked. "Your highness, what can I do for you?" The omega in charge of the playroom bowed to me. "Is Lucas here?" She nodded. "Lucas, buddy go with the Alpha King" She told Lucas. I walked away from the playroom with him following behind me. I grabbed him by the throat, holding him against the wall.
"You dare to cheat on the Suprema?!" I growled. He clawed at my hand trying to get me to let go, tears filled his eyes. I felt someone grab my arm, I look in the corner to see it was my Beta. "Let my son go!" He tried to make me let Lucas go. "SOMEONE GET THE LUNA!! HE'S GOING TO KILL LUCAS!!" I heard someone shout. I applied more pressure to Lucas' throat as my claws started to come out. I guess the pack knows I've met my mate.
"Lucian! Drop him!" Lavinia's voice was strong and stern. I dropped Lucas, he fell to his knees coughing for air. "Why did you try to kill him?" She approached me and asked softly looking up at me with gentle eyes. "He kissed some other bitch. He cheated on Maeve" I growled lowly. Pack members gathered, their eyes stared at me and Lavinia. Lavinia's eyes held anger towards me. I got down on my knees infront of her, I took her small hands in my mine.
Gasps filled the room, I stared up at Lavinia with hopeful eyes she'd forgive me of my actions. "Please forgive me, my love. Please don't be mad at me, he made Eve cry" I begged her for her forgiveness. "Lucian, get up. You don't need to beg me" She told me. I stood up, I placed my hands on her waist and pulled her into me before placing my lips on hers.
A few moments later we parted for air and she realized everyone was gathered and watching us. She hid behind me. Everyone started to mutter and mumble about what they just witnessed. "Quiet!! What you saw with the Beta's son is a mere punishment for upsetting the princess. The punishment for upsetting or disrespecting the Queen will be far worse. Disrespecting my mate will be treated as treason against the royal family" I roared before dismissing everyone.
"You scare everybody in this pack" Lavinia giggles. "Gets the message through easier." I muttered and teleported us back to my room. "I think if you teleport me one more place I may throw up" Lai slumps onto the bed. A few moments later she's dead asleep on my bed, I chuckle. I go for a shower before joining her in bed, then it struck me. She hasn't eaten in a while.
