Lucian Dardanos' POV
The moment Liv rejected me I felt a sharp pain shoot through my chest as the bond severed. I watched as she left with Mae and the Northern Lights pack. I felt furious with myself, I felt like I was going to kill someone. I turned to the bitch who made me lose my mate, I growled at her before grabbing her by her throat. "I'm going to fucking kill you! You made her reject me and leave!" I squeezed her throat tighter and tighter as she clawed at my hand.
I growled loudly before I threw the bitch against the wall with such force it must have killed her. I could still feel what she felt but it reflected what I felt. Soren blocked his link with me, all of the guests left and I went into my room. I grabbed a vase from the bedside cabinet and I smashed it by throwing it against the wall startling Lily. "Holy sweet Jesus...Watch where you throw shit" Lily mumbled and I growled at her.
All I wanted was Liv back in my arms, whilst I explained what happened. I looked in the mirror and my mark had disappeared. "No...i-it's gone.." I whispered as I touched where my mark used to be. That bitch kissed me, I didn't kiss her. I had tried to get her off but she stuck to me like glue. Lily decided it was best to leave me alone for a bit. I laid down on my bed thinking what I could do to get Liv back, nothing came to mind except going to the Silver wolf royal castle.
I don't think that would be a good idea, she won't want to see me. Liv probably hates me, along with Maeve. She got a few wolves from the Northern Lights pack to take some of my hoodies and shirts, because she wears those more than anything. Liv looks adorable in my clothes, so cute and fuckable.
"Please come back Liv.." I whispered as I tossed onto my side closing my eyes. It was no use trying to sleep it had been five hours since I had tried and I couldn't. I walked downstairs into the kitchen and I made myself a coffee. Soren had unblocked our connection, he was slowly coming back. 'I see someone is back' I said through mindlink and he growled at me. I sipped on my hot coffee as I thought about what Liv is doing.
I took my coffee into my office, placing it on my desk as I done useless work that had piled up. I groaned as I couldn't concentrate on anything else but getting Liv back, in my arms. Soren won't speak to me and our mate bond has severed. I walked away from my desk and out onto my balcony looking at the moon and stars. I wished Liv was here experiencing this beautiful sight.
"I wish you was here my love, you would have loved to see this" I whispered as a shooting star shot across the black sky. I retreated back inside as it started to rain badly, I finished the work I had to do and I went back to bed. Everything felt numb and empty, it was like I was drowning in sadness.
~~A few days later~~
"Lucian, give her time. She will come around soon." Lily rubbed my shoulder. Its been three days since Liv rejected me and left, I've been struggling to sleep, shower, eat and drink. If it wasn't for Lyra and Lily I wouldn't stop working at all. I grunted and faced Lily, my eyes no longer had its sparkle and I was cold to everyone.
"What if she doesn't?" I asked and she lowered her head sighing. "Luc, your like my brother, it hurts to see you like this. I think you should just accept her rejection. If the moon Goddess wants you to be mates, she'll make you mates again" Lily said softly and I glared at her.
"Fine...I'll accept the rejection, I hope you are right about the Moon Goddess." I mumbled and Lily smiled softly before leaving me alone with my thoughts. I took a deep breath, closing my eyes before I exhaled. "I, Lucian Dardanos, the Alpha King and Alpha of the West side Mountain pack, accept Lavinia Evans rejection" I mumbled and everything between us was severed. It hurt alot and Soren shut himself away. I took a sip of my coffee and I took a bite of the toast Lily bought me before I continued to work.
