~white hat's pov~

~time skip to night time~

I finished checking to make sure everyone was asleep I left another note in dr. slug's lab slightly blushing blue. I went to my bedroom to head to bed since everyone else was already asleep.

~dr. slug's pov~

I wake up and check the time...4:00 am... I groan annoyed I lied in bed for a little bit before getting out of bed to get dressed. After words I head down to the kitchen where Clementia was serving breakfast. eggs and bacon with some toast was for breakfast today. While eating I noticed white hat kept glancing at me every now and then but I didn't think much of it. In my lab I found a little note on the desk I mostly use [the more work bench like desk] It had the same hand writing, neat cursive, as the one on yesterday's I open up this note:

Dear, doctor

how are you this fine day? You didn't reply to my fist note but I hope you do reply to one at least also I will be waiting for my invention

the note read. I mentally noted the words 'how are you' and 'reply to one at least'. I put the note next to the other one which was in a small secret drawer in one of my desks. 

~small time skip~

I had only one more screw to put into the invention when 6.0.6 startled me by dropping a plate with some crackers and cheese along with a cup of coffee on my desk. I looked at 6.0.6 gave him a small pat on his head before he walked out of the lab. I sighed before screwing in the last screw and putting the device and screwdriver down. The plate had another noted on it:

Thought you might be hungry

read the note I took the opportunity and locked the door of my lab before taking off my bag and eating the snack. When I finished my snack I put my bag back over my head and agested my goggles as I unlock the door. Making my way up to white hat's office with the invention I think about the notes 'Should I reply to one?' Kept repeating in my mind until I was in front of the large double  doors. I knock and go inside once I hear white hat say in a cheerful voice 'Come in!'

~white hat's pov~

Dr. slug walks in and puts his invention on my desk before going to explain how it works though I wasn't paying much attention I was staring at him purring like a cat quietly 'he is kinda hot' I thought before snapping out of my trance and saying "Oh! yes good work slug keep it up!". After I said that I thought about how the next note I leave him should be like since I kinda wanted to ask him out on a date to a cafe but who knows he hasn't replied to any of the letters just yet.

A/N: Hey guys I am going to my cousins house again and won't be back to late at night so I kinda rushed this chapter but the next chapter will be them going on a date to a small cafe!
