"Advit, you will go to the camp today. Orphanage tumhari jagah Nishant chala jayega." Nanaji said as Advit was leaving for school. Advit thought for a while and nodded knowing if he denied, his Nanaji might not send his butler to take care of Mahi.

As soon as he nodded his head, Pratap sent his men to take care of the girl who has become a little too important in the life of his grandson, but he also knew that it was fine. He can see the changes this girl's presence brings to his grandson, but one thing still confused him. Why did his grandson choose someone broken like that girl. His grandson like him was very much into perfection, so why would he even look at a person that had scars as that girl.

"Advit." Advit heard his Nanaji call out to him, and he looked straight at him when his Nanaji said "Why..." His Nanaji suddenly shook his head stopping in the middle of his sentence and said "Nothing. You leave."

Advit raised his eyebrow and nodded before leaving.

Pratap thought of the girl's dependency on his grandson and knew why he chose her. Somethings are not exactly about broken or perfect, they are sometimes about the indifferent feelings and their emergence and probably that girl brought that out in his grandson.

Pratap smiled, knowing that eventually, this grandson of his will bring him great surprises. But before that he must place more people around that girl, she needs to be protected to make sure his grandson stays sane.

Advit strictly looked at Abhaya who was trying to enter his room to take away his Mahi. "Bhai, I don't care what you are on about but she is innocent. Let me take her back to my room."

"Let you take her back? Abhaya, I am taking her back where she belongs. She was taken away from me, dammit!" Advit practically shouted and Abhaya shivered looking into his eyes. His eyes were looking at her with anger, they were red and yet his black eyes that always stayed cold had a clear warmth in it. Even when he was angry, at the mention of her name, his eyes held warmth.

"Bhai, vo aapko nahi jaanti hain and jo aapne kiya hain vo aapse darti hain, aise mein aap jo keh rahe hain vo possible nahi hai. Aap samajhtey kyun nahi?" Abhaya said as she slid down the door partially leaning on the door to sit on the floor. Her strength and will has already overdrawn, her fear was overpowering her again, looking at her bhai and holding her own in front of his anger was way too tough for her.

"Ismey mujhe nahi, usey smajhne ki zaroorat hain, Abhaya, agar main usey tujhe lejaane dunga toh main mar jauga. Please usey mere paas rehne dey. You are my baby sister, right? And you will listen to me." Advit said as he helped his little sister stand holding her shoulder and his secretary took her back to her room to let her sleep.

Abhaya who was too tired to talk slept in her bed as soon as she laid down. Her last thought was still all about how to save her friend from her brother, from his insanity...

Mahira was still unconscious, even when the doctor checked her. The doctor said that she was just too shocked and will be fine in a while, still even after five hours she didn't wake up. Her lying like this was killing Advit inside out.

Advit was sitting beside her, holding her hand just to make sure she was here. He would, every once in a while, caress her hair, touch her cheeks and even look at the faint scar that was left behind her ear from that accident that led her to the orphanage and then to him. From her eyes and his heart, he could tell she was his Mahi but what helped him make sure was this scar.

"Tumhein pata hain maine kitna intezaar kiya hain tumhara?" advit said as he touched her cheeks. His fingers caressed them and then touched her chin as he leaned down to touch her forehead with his lips. As light as the feather, his lips touched her forehead, his heart beating into his chest, her smooth skin shining under the lamp light. Everything was romantic, filled with a sweet fragrance of love but only if you ignore that darkness that engulfed this all within.

"Kaise pata hoga tumhein, tum toh mujhe aise hi chhod kar chali gayi thi. Tumhare Adit ne tumhein kitna miss kiya hain yeh toh koi bata hi nahi sakta tumhein." His eyes wept as a tear fell on her lips and Advit's eyes darkened. There was insanity, love and even more pain hidden in those eyes.

He knew there were times when he thought he lost her but his heart was beating, so how could he have lost her. Since the moment he lost her, all he thought was how to get her back and now that he has her back, how can he let her go.

How can he...

His eyes strayed over every inch of her. He wanted to devour her with his eyes, ek alg si kashish thi uski aankhon mein.

He couldn't control the tears that fell from his eyes, he was the reason she was laying right here in front of him, so lifeless yet so like-like.

"You are here because of me but... I don't even seem to mind this," he smiled as his hand trembled and touched her cheeks, "you being here is enough for me to overlook anything and everything, Mahi, yeh kya ho gaya hun main?" he put his forehead on her chin and tears fell from his eyes, his eyes even overlooked how Mahira shivered and her pupil moved under her eyelid.

He looked at her again as his eyes filled with numerous questions from how she suddenly became Mittal's only daughter. There were many people wanting to hurt her outside in the underworld to snatch up the last bit of sanity left in Mr. Manish Mittal. She was a treat to any of Mittal's enemy.

He has heard about her there too, but he never knew she was his Mahi.

His lips whispered her name again and again as he kept his head nuzzled in his neck and his right hand holding onto her hand while the other holding onto her neck.

"Mahi." Her eyes snapped open, and a blood-curling scream sounded in the room as Advit was pushed away and his face turned to the other side from the impact of Mahira's slap.
