Mahira who was left alone with Advit looked at him and her eyes wandered at the door for a moment when Advit came and sat right at the place Abhaya sat in.

Advit looked at Mahira's eyes. Those light brown eyes didn't look at him at all. From the moment he sat in front of her, all her eyes saw was the door.

"Why?" Advit asked and Mahira looked at him.

Her eyes took in his beautiful face. Those dark black eyes, those hard features, that perfectly clean look. She couldn't fathom how something so beautiful can make her fear so much. Why when she dreamed of these eyes, all she felt was love but now when they were right in front of her, all she felt was fear?

His heated gaze peered into her fearful one and he sighed. "Kyun?"

Mahira listening to him moved away from him when his hand held her by her neck. His hold wasn't tight, it wasn't even painful rather she could move away from him even with his hand on her neck but this hold of his held a promise that no matter how much she moves away, he will come closer and closer.

"Kyun kya...?" Mahira stuttered and Advit leaned his face close to hers to peer into her eyes. He maintained this eye contact for less than a minute when Mahira turned her face away and Advit with his hold on her neck turned her face to look at him.

"Kyun darti ho itna?" Advit asked as he moved his hand away from her.

"..." Mahira looked at him and lowered her head again as she realized all she could see in his eyes was herself.

"Bataogi nahi toh main kaise badluga?" Advit whispered. His eyes taking in all of her, she was still looking divine to him, messed up hairs, red face, tear marks, and with all of this, that innocent gaze. Vo toh tabhi usper mar mita tha jab uski taraf pehli baar dekha tha.

She was sight of wonders to him; he was in love with her due to the separation they suffered. His love was simple, he has only ever seen her in her childhood. He was young and thus, his feelings were simple child's feeling on wanting a toy that he was attached to and nothing more. But when she left, she created a void within him and he knew nothing, but she can fill that void. Deep within, he knew that there was more to this feeling than just the need of her.

When he saw those eyes again and with those childhood feeling came a stronger, darker emotion. If he wanted her as a child, he craved her as an adult. He wanted to have her so close to him that not even air can pass between them.

"Aapne unhe mara tha..." Mahira said as she again thought back to the two people, she saw laid in blood with their eyes wide open.

"Tumhein bas isiliye dar lagta hain?" Mahira nodded as she thought back to those dark eyes, they were looking at her with such deep emotion that the dept of those emotions scared her. His eyes felt as if they crawled on her skin, and it truly horrified her.

Nobody has looked at her in such a way. She has seen and felt admiring gaze or even creepy gaze, but it was the first to feel something that stick to her skin but there was nothing wrong in his gaze. It was just too intense for her.

"Mahi, I promise nothing like that will ever happen again in front of you." Advit said as he touched his heart in front of her and as if she has seen that action before, she wondered why she felt a fluttering feeling in her stomach looking at his eyes, but an even greater fear engulfed her as she wondered why she was here with him.

"Hume, hume hamare room mein vapas jana hain." Mahi said looking down at the floor and Advit hearing her stared at her and stood up from her side. "Nahin. You won't go anywhere. You will stay in this room. This will soon become your room afterall."

"..." Mahira stared at him and opened her mouth to ask why but nothing came out of her mouth as she saw Advit staring at her with those eyes that promised her no answer for any of her question.

"Rest now." Advit was leaving when Mahira out of hope held his hand and whispered, "Hume yahan accha nahin lagta."

"Toh sikhlo. Magar tum yahan sey kahin nahin jaugi." Advit said as he snatched his hand out of her grip causing her to fall on her bed. "I don't want to hear these words from your mouth again. Am I clear?"

Mahira just kept staring at his back and said nothing when Advit shouted, "Am I clear, Mahi?!"

Mahira nodded her head as she saw him moving out of the room and as he pulled the door open, he turned to look at her, "Mahi, tum meri ho. Mujhe aur kisi bhi cheez se farak nahin padta. Tumhein accha lagey ya naa lagey, I don't care."

His black eyes swirled with insanity and Mahi lowered her head and held her knees to her chest.

His black eyes seemed to remind her of some memories but all that did was bang her on her head and bring a severe headache. Tears rolled down her eyes due to the treatment she was receiving from her friends' brother.

She was supposed to be safe from everyone here but who will save her from him here?

Advit called his secretary in the hall and said "Put all your people on Mr. Mittal's tail. I want all the details of his past. I also want his blood sample and run a test of this piece of hair with Mr. Mittal's. The doctor already took her blood samples. Find a way to get Mr. Mittal's samples also."

Advit's secretary, Mr. Raj nodded his head and left.

Advit's gaze wandered to his room on the first floor, and he wondered why his Mahi, who braved his anger when she was young, is so scared of him.

Magar ab kar bhi kya saktey hain, vo usey dur janey nahin de sakta aur paas vo aayegi nahin.

Let's see till when will this game of tag will continue...

Advit smiled at his thoughts and got up to go back to his room to see his scaredy cat. He opened the door of the room to see his scaredy cat sleeping on the bed while holding her knees to her chest, arms folded around her legs.

"Mahi..." His lips whispered and he helped her lay down in a better posture that won't break her neck or her back.
