"Jo bhi soch rahi hain usey vahi rauk dey." Abhaya said as she came to stand right beside her. "As much as I know about my brother, he will never allow anything to come in between you and him once you learn everything and whatever cheesy things he will say, don't believe them. He isn't the sweet kind, Mahi, he might be one for you but once he learns of what we ae trying to do, he will be the one who will punish us..."
"And nothing will protect us." Abhaya said as her eyes kept staring at her Bhai's room.
"Mahi." Mahira heard Vivaan calling her and went inside with her head in a deep crisis. If Abhaya is right then, they will have to meet Dr. Ankita in an even more discrete manner while making sure neither her father nor Advit ever comes to know about this.
Abhaya shook her head knowing what her best friend was thinking. She just hoped nothing would go wrong.
Kyoki agar kuch bhi galat hua, toh humein bhai toh sabsey bacha lenge magar unsey humein koi bhi nahin bacha payega.
Abhaya worriedly turned around and left.
Meanwhile, Advit who was leaning against the door with his eyes closed sighed. He thought of how easily Abhaya said to let his Mahi go. He wondered if he could ever do that. He knew he couldn't. How could he? Letting her go would be like taking his heart out and burning it. He feared if she, even after knowing everything about him, about them, about their past, asked to be let go, will he be able to live?
A tear left his eye, and he tightened his hands before moving away from the door.
"Kyun sochu ki vo rihaayi ki faryaad kregi,
jab mein mohabbat ko uski aazadi bnadunga."

Mahira and Abhaya were sitting together after they bit bye to Vivaan.
"How will we meet her? If we go to hospital, Bhai's guards will know." Abhaya said as she took a sip of water while checking for the reports she got from her sources.
"We will have to meet this woman. She was the one who treated me, she should surely know more about my situation as well as how I got into that situation." Mahira said as she checked for more info about the case two years ago.
"I also heard something." Abhaya said as she paused for a few seconds.
"Kya?" Mahira said.
"Somebody else is searching for what happened two years ago too." Abhaya rubbed her face with her hands and looked at Mahira before saying, "and I think it's not bhai which makes all this more complicated."
"If it's not him then that makes it less complicated. We fear him knowing, not anybody else." Mahira said as she looked at Abhaya who shook her head and said, "You don't understand. What if that person is some enemy who gets to know what we are doing and ends up using us as bait for bhai? If only Bhai is searching for this, then he will only punish us for hiding but in the other case, we will be punished not only for hiding but for throwing our lives in danger."
"..." Mahira kept quiet and then after a while said, "What if we don't go behind these people but rather only stop the medications and get more information from dr. Ankita?"
Abhaya nodded and said, "For now, it might be the safest route to reach the truth."
"It might be the only one as well." Mahira said and they both looked at each other with certainty and determination.
"So, we can't go to the hospital, where can we meet her then?" Abhaya said and Mahira thought for a place and said, "Shopping mall."
"Okay, I'll arrange a meeting there, then." Abhaya said and stood up when she stopped and looked at Mahira.
"She wouldn't let the cat out of the bag, would she?" Abhaya asked.
Mahira smiled at her and said, "She won't, she seems too scared of Papa to do that."
At Mahira's smile Abhaya said "Sometimes, I am not sure if you are too innocent or too clever."
Mahira's smile was wiped off at this sentence and she tilted her head at Abhaya, "That's what I'm going to find out too."
Abhaya left to make a call and Mahira kept looking through the police records Abhaya handed her to see any detail that could make her remember that kidnapping incident. She was kidnapped from her school on her first day by somebody who was obsessed with her Papa. But the whole reason and reports in this FIR and even the incident is changed in this police report to hide everything about that case.
But why would everyone want to hide about this incident, exactly what happened, that nobody would even discuss this.
"Yaar, I am so hungry!" Abhaya said as she jumped on the bed after setting the details for the meeting.
"Main bhi!" Mahira said and jumped right beside Abhaya.
Because her jump was sudden, Abhaya fell off the bed and soon, their laughter filled the room.
"Mahi." Abhaya suddenly called.
"Hmm?" Mahira replied.
"Don't change too much, please?" Abhaya said, it was a statement, but that underlying plea was undeniably weak.
"I won't. No matter what, I will find myself but still I won't lose myself. Tu hi to meri dost hain!" Mahira said and her last line caused them to laugh.
Their unbridled laughter was heard by Advit who was listening to their conversation from the start.
"Sir, what should we do?" Advit looked at his guard who was standing in front of him bowing his head down.
"Seems like since I left, my lovely sister has gotten out of our hands, hmm?" The guard said nothing and only listened as Advit continued. "Find out who is she ordering and getting help from. By the end of this week, I would love to find what my little sister and her best friend is up to."
The guard bowed to him once before leaving the room while Advit continued to listen to their conversation where his name was only mentioned when his sister was warning his Mahi.

In a storeroom, a man was strapped to a chair while four men were standing right around him looking at the screen where a man in a mask was ordering them.
"Find out everything about that girl who was killed by those traffickers, there sure is some problem in all those cases where those kids from influential families were killed or rather, replaced."
