Did You Love Me Ever?

The Brother

Y/N takes a deep breath as he looks at the door that stands between him and his brother, to say he is nervous would be an understatement. 

He composes himself before knocking on the door and waiting for an answer. He doesn't have to wait long, as the door opens revealing a tall, skinny man with a green lantern t-shirt over a long sleeve jumper. 

"Is Leonard here?"

"He's not home. I'm Sheldon, his roommate."

"Y/N."

He nods at him which Sheldon appreciates since he isn't a fan of hand shaking, too many germs. Sheldon lets Y/N inside the apartment. 

Sheldon starts to go over the apartment rules, the bathroom schedule and the roommate agreement. 

Y/N agrees to the bathroom schedule and that he'll abide by the rules but he isn't signing anything without looking over it. 

Sheldon hands Y/N a copy of the roommate agreement. He takes it and goes to sit down on the couch only for Sheldon to make a weird noise, stopping him.

"What?"

"That's my spot."

Y/N looks at the seat he was about to sit in before turning to look at Sheldon.

"Your spot?"

"Yes I know it's weird but-"

"No. Not weird, just isn't something I'm use to. I'm sorry Sheldon, I didn't know. It won't happen again."

Y/N moves to a different seat, Sheldon looking at him perplexed. Y/N being the first person to treat him like he isn't crazy, maybe letting the younger Hofstadter stay wouldn't be so bad after all. 

Later that day, Leonard returns home while Y/N is in the shower. He notices a bag on the couch before looking at Sheldon.

"Is Y/N here?"

"Yeah. He wanted a shower after travelling."

Leonard nods before the door opens and Penny walks in.

"Hi Penny."

"Hi Leonard, is Y/N here?"

"Yeah he's-"

Y/N walks out with a towel around his waist. He roots through his bag not noticing the eyes on him before turning around and noticing them.

"Oh sorry. Forgot I'm not where I normally am so forgot my clothes."

"Don't worry about it."

He turns to look at Penny with a smile.

"Y/N this is-"

"Penny, I know we met already."

Penny smiles at him as he pulls his boxers on before removing his towel. 

"I was wondering if you wanted to come to the Cheesecake Factory."

"It's Indian night?"

"Not you two, just Y/N."

Leonard looks between Penny and his younger brother.

"Yeah sure, maybe you could introduce me to your boss?"

"Yeah come on."

He pulls on his pants before throwing on a pair of socks and a shirt. He throws on his shoes before waving goodbye to the two of them, leaving with Penny. 

Y/N and Penny are sitting at their table, waiting for their food. Y/N met Penny's boss and he agreed to let Y/N have a trial run next week. 

"You excited to start working here?"
