Isabelle's POV

It has been a week since I started going to Rhys's house for his sessions, and it has been fruitless, he keeps doing the same thing everyday.

He'd totally ignore me and just let me talk to myself not bothering to even answer at least one question.

He snapped at me the second time tho, telling me about how I couldn't keep my mouth shut and I let him lose his cool with Elaine.

Since then I made Elaine promise that whatever I told her about the sessions, she'd never confront him about it.

It was a Friday again and I had just dropped Amber off at Mom's place before heading to Rhys's place.

Elaine and I talked yesterday and I let her know that if her brother keeps going like this, he may never recover because he's denying himself the chance to.

It's like he's fighting off the fact that I'm trying to help him, he made it clear the first day that he didn't want my help and he has been constantly showing that he would not accept any form of professional help.

I told her I'd keep trying, but it's almost impossible to help someone who doesn't want to be helped, he's shutting himself off the world, he's cutting everything out and it's not going to end well.

I'm currently parked in his driveway, I know Elaine is not in because she told me she'd be at work when I come, she has always tried to be available whenever I was here but today was just too packed for her, which I understand.

I walk into the house and see his mom in the kitchen, I greet her before she tells me he's inside as usual.

She looked different today, like a bit sad and that just breaks my heart.
She must be going through a lot watching her son shut her off without being able to do anything about it.

I walk upstairs and get to his room, I knock gently before pushing it open, I know he won't ask me to go in but I always knock.

I enter and I see him standing by the window which is new, whenever I come, he's always lying down but today he's standing with his back to me and his hands tucked in his sweatpants pocket.

His back is toned and broad, they look firm too like he had been keeping fit even though he was going through pain but I know he doesn't leave this room so that's impossible.

I walk in further and stop just a few feet from him,

"Hello Mr Walker" I greet him trying to sound cheerful, yes he still hasn't let me call him Rhys yet

He turns to me and for a second I was scared because he looked very pissed and angry and the scowl on his face wasn't helping either

He doesn't answer, he just glares hard at me and the scowl on his face deepen, I wonder who has got him up in a twist like this?

"What did you tell my mom"? he spits out angrily and it takes me by surprise.

I just look at him like he was saying something strange because I don't even understand what he's saying.

"Excuse me"? I ask cluelessly

"Remember I warned you about going to tell my sister or my mom anything about me based on your stupid sessions but you don't listen, you're meddling in things that don't concern you Miss Monroe and if I were you I'd be careful" he growled out angrily with a scowl on his face.

Okay I never expected that and what is this he's saying about telling his mom anything, I didn't even talk to his mom about him, I never did.

"Rhys I don't know....." I say trying to move close to him but he just flinch back
