As Lila and Pearl continued walking home, they soon arrived in front of Pearl's house. Pearl and Lila walked up to the front door as Pearl unlocked the door, letting Lila walk in first. After Pearl walked in and locked the door after, she grabbed Lila's wrist and starting walking upstairs towards her bedroom. Lila and Pearl both out their backpacks on the floor, jumping on Pearl's bed.
"What should we do?" Lila asked, lounging on the bed. "We could watch a horror movie." Pearl said, lounging on the bed with Lila, leaning her head on her shoulder and holding her hand. "Sure, we could watch Scream 6." Lila responded, leaning her head on top of Pearl's. "I haven't seen that yet! I wanted to watch it so bad when it came out, so sure." Pearl said, handing Lila the remote.
Lila took the remote from Pearl, turning on the TV and starting to search for the movie. While Lila searched for the movie, Pearl tried to yawn quietly. "Are you already tired?" Lila asked, glancing down at Pearl. "Maybe.." Pearl answered, glancing up at Lila. "You can just sleep, I'll just stay here until you wake up." Lila said as she moved away from Pearl and got up from the bed.
"Don't leave me." Pearl replied, laying down on her side as she pulled a blanket over her. "You're fine Pearl. I'm going to do my homework." Lila answered, pulling her homework out of her backpack. "Whatever.." Pearl said as she starting to drift off. Lila sat down at Pearl's desk, starting to work on the small amount of homework she had.
~Few Hours Later|8:30 PM~
As Lila sat down on the floor next to Pearl's bed, she started to scroll on her phone until she heard a noise coming from Pearl. "Pearl..?" Lila asked, looking up at Pearl. "Y-yea..?" Pearl responded, looking over at Lila. "How was your sleep?" Lila asked, getting off of the floor and sitting next to Pearl. "It was fine.." Pearl answered, sitting up from her laying position. Pearl kissed Lila on the cheek, rubbing her eyes after.
"I'm probably going to start heading out." Lila said as she started sitting up from the bed. "Please stay." Pearl responded, grabbing Lila's wrist. "Fine.. Let me text my sister." Lila mumbled, switching to her texts with her sister.
Lila: Hey sis! I was wondering if I could sleepover at Pearl's.
Aria: Sure! Just don't skip school tomorrow.
Lila: Alright! Love you <3
Aria: Love you too. :)
"She said sure." Lila said, shoving her phone into her backpack. "Alright! You can take some of my clothes from my dresser and bet dressed in the bathroom." Pearl responded. "Alright, thanks." Lila said, walking over to the dresser. Lila took out a baggy t-shirt and a pair of shorts, then walking out of the bedroom.
