~August 13th|6:00 PM~
Lila had just finished unpacking the last box, she collapsed on the couch after. As Lila was starting to drift off, she heard the door knobs turning at the front door. Lila quickly stood up from the couch as Pearl walked into the apartment. "Hey babe! You finally finished unpacking all of the boxes?" Pearl said as she hung up her bag and slipped her shoes off.
"Yup! How was work?" Lila asked as she walked over to Pearl, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "It was pretty good, it's work." Pearl said as she started walking towards the bathroom. "I'm going to take a shower! Love you!" Pearl yelled as she closed the bathroom door behind her. "Love you too!" Lila yelled back as she sat back down on the couch.
After a few minutes, Lila was about to drift off again until she heard the bathroom door knob turning. Lila's eye opened again as she sat up on the couch, quickly grabbing the remote and turning on the TV. Pearl walked out of the bathroom, a towel was wrapped around her hair as she walked upstairs to their bedroom. "Lila, when are you going to get ready?" Pearl asked as she walked downstairs, wearing an elegant, light blue dress with light blue heels.
As Lila was about to ask why she would be getting ready, she remembered that her and Pearl were going out to dinner tonight. "I was going to get ready now!" Lila said, basically jumping up from the couch and running to the bathroom, slamming the door behind her. Lila opened her makeup bag, starting to apply mascara to her eyelashes quickly. As she rushed to finish her makeup, she also plugged in her curling iron.
After Lila finished her makeup, she starting curling her hair. She unplugged the curling iron, finally looking in the mirror properly. "For rushing, I look pretty good." Lila thought, walking out of the bathroom and running upstairs. Lila rummaged through her dresser, deciding on a black blouse and skirt, pairing with simple black heels.
Lila rushed to get dressed, fixing her curls as she walked downstairs. "I'm ready!" Lila said, finally taking a breath. "You look beautiful as always." Pearl said as she got up from the stool, giving Lila a kiss on her cheek. Lila and Pearl walked out of the apartment, locking the door behind them and starting to walk towards the elevator.
~At Dinner|7:30 PM~
Lila and Pearl had just been seated at a table, on the balcony in an empty area. As Lila read the menu, the waitress walked up to them. "Good evening ladies! Would you like anything to drink?" The waitress asked, smiling. "We'll both take a glass of sparkling water please." Pearl said quickly, picking up her own menu. "Alright! We'll bring that for you in a few minutes." The waitress said as she started to walk away.
"What are you planning to order?" Lila asked, looking up from her menu and looking at Pearl. "I was planning on getting the caeser salad, what about you?" Pearl responded. "I was planning on ordering the grilled cheese." Lila responded as she closed up her menu, placing it on top of Pearl's. "That sounds good!" Pearl said as the waitress walked up to them, holding their drinks.
"Here are your drinks ladies! Have you two decided on what to order yet?" The waitress asked, placing their glasses on the table. "I'll take the caeser salad please!" Pearl said, taking a sip of sparkling water after. "Alright! What about you?" The waitress said, looking over at Lila. "I'll take the grilled cheese please." Lila said, pushing the menus towards the end of the table.
"Alright, is that all?" The waitress asked as she wrote down their orders on her notepad. "Yes it is! Thank you." Pearl said, handing the waitress the menus. "That'll be coming right up!" The waitress said, holding the menu as she walked away. "I'm so happy that we are done unpacking.." Lila said, lounging back on her seat as she took a sip of sparkling water.
"Same! The apartment finally feels like home. Having just some furniture with boxes everywhere isn't a very homey vibe." Pearl said, slightly laughing after. As the girls continued talking, the waitress walked up to them with their meals in hand. "Here you go! I hope you enjoy your meal!" The waitress said as she place down their meals in front of them.
~After Eating|8:15 PM~
As Lila and Pearl finished their meals and drinks, Pearl suddenly looked up at Lila with a slighty nervous facial expression. "Can we stand up for a minute..? I want to talk to you." Pearl said as she sat up from the booth. "Sure..!" Lila answered, getting out of her booth also. As Lila stood up in front of Pearl, Pearl grabbed her hands.
"Lila Woods, I love you so much. I've loved you ever since we started dating. We have seen each other through our highest moments and our lowest moments, I know that I am able to trust you with my life. You are the love of my life Lila Woods.." Pearl said as she let go of Lila's hands, kneeling to the ground and pulling out a ring from her pocket. Pearl opened the box, revealing a beautiful diamond ring. "Will you marry me..? Pearl asked nervously, looking up at Lila.
"Of course I will! I love you so much.." Lila said, helping Pearl up and bringing her into a hug. Lila and Pearl separated quickly, sharing a kiss. Pearl slid the ring onto Lila's finger as Lila slid a ring onto Pearl's finger. Pearl and Lila sat back down at the booth, talking about their futures together.
