○ Chapter 7 | In The Future ○

Hello everyone! Starting from this chapter and any chapters forward, the story will be set two years later.

~June 15th|1:00 PM~

As Lila taped up the final box, she sat down on the floor and sighed. "Finally I'm done packing!" Lila thought to herself, taking a sigh of relief. "Lila, are you done packing yet?!" Aria yelled from the kitchen. "Yes Aria, I am!" Lila responded as she started to get up from the floor. "Well bring the boxes here then!" Aria yelled back.

Lila started stacking as many boxes as should could, leaving her bedroom. Lila placed all of the boxes she carried into a cart. "Is that all of the boxes you have?" Aria asked, placing the final box she had packed into the cart. "I have one more, let me go get it!" Lila said as she ran back to her bedroom. Lila picked up the final box, running out of her room and placing it into the cart.

"Alright, I'll push this to the car. You can turn off all of the lights, close all of the doors, and bring the duffel bags to the car." Aria said as she started pushing the cart. "Alright!" Lila said as she started turning off the lights and closing the doors.

~At The Car|1:10 PM~

As Lila threw the final duffel bag into the trunk, she heard a ding from her phone. While Lila closed the trunk and starting walking up the passenger seat, she took her phone out of her pocket.

Pearl: Hey Lila! Have you finished packing yet?

Lila: Yeah, how has your day been?

Pearl: It's been good thanks! I'm so excited to be moving in with you guys!

Lila: I know! It doesn't feel real.

Pearl: Well thankfully it is. I'll see you at the new house. Love you <3

Lila: Love you too <3

Lila closed the passenger door and buckled her seatbelt as Aria started the car. Lila shoved her phone into her pocket and started looking out of the window. "Are you excited to be moving?" Aria asked. "Of course! We won't be in the same city as our parents anymore. I also get to live with my girlfriend!" Lila answered.

"You aren't sharing a room you know." Aria said, laughing after. "Gross Aria. I know that." Lila said as she rolled her eyes. "I'm just saying, you both are sixteen so you never know." Aria said, glancing over at Lila. "Stop it Aria, you don't have to be weird about it." Lila responded. "Fine, I'm sorry." Aria said, looking back at the road fully.

~Hours Later|6:40 PM~

Aria and Lila had finally arrived at the new house, noticing that Pearl was already there. Lila opened the passenger door, quickly running to Pearl. "Hey babe!" Pearl said as she ran towards Lila. Lila and Pearl hugged as Aria stepped out of the car and opened the trunk. "Can you girls help bring in the boxes?" Aria asked, pulling out a few boxes. "Yup!" Lila and Pearl said as they separated and ran towards the car.

~After Bringing The Boxes In|7:30 PM~

Lila and Pearl were sitting on a mattress upstairs, eating ramen together. "This room is huge! It's way bigger then my bedroom in Aria's apartment." Lila said, taking another bite of ramen after. "That's the same with mine." Pearl replied as she got up from the mattress, holding an empty bowl. "How did you eat all of that ramen?!" Lila asked with a surprised look on her face.

"I'm not a fast eater, you're just a slow eater that talks a lot." Pearl said as she walked out of the room. "Hey!!" Lila yelled as she ate the last bite of ramen. Lila stood up from the mattress, running downstairs to the kitchen. As Lila entered the kitchen, Pearl was already leaving the kitchen. "Wait for me man!" Lila yelled, quickly washing the bowl and then running after Pearl.

Pearl was opened the boxes in her bedroom, starting to unpack all of her decor. "I forgot that you set up the furniture in your bedroom." Lila said, slapping her forehead after. "All of the rooms have furniture, your room just doesn't have a bed frame yet." Pearl said as she rolled her eyes. "Why do you always have to prove me wrong..?" Lila asked.

"You make it easy, what do you want me to say?" Pearl said, looking at Lila with a smirk. "Fine, I'm an idiot." Lila said, slapping her forehead again. "You aren't an idiot, I'm just smarter then you." Pearl said, laughing at her own joke after. Lila rolled her eyes as she started helping Pearl unpack her boxes.

~After Unpacking All of The Boxes|11:00 PM~

Lila was lying down on her bed, looking up at the ceiling while Pearl was sitting on the corner of her bed. "Do you want to know a secret?" Pearl whispered as she looked over at Lila. "What..?" Lila asked as she rubbed her eyes. "I want to marry you, not right now of course." Pearl said, smirking at Lila. "W-why..?" Lila mumbled as she yawned after. "Because I love you." Pearl whispered, kissing Lila's forehead.

"You seem tired so I'll let you get some rest. Night." Pearl said as she got up from the bed, walking out of the bedroom and closing the door behind her. Lila wasn't actually too tired, she just wanted Pearl to leave. Lila got out of her bed, grabbing her laptop off of her desk. Lila sat back down with her laptop as she continued working on the finalized version of her story that she started working on two years prior.
