it's been a week since they started attending high school, jiyul has been getting along well with yejoo and the two had become best friends quickly.

jiyul had also introduced yejoo to jaemin and jaesoo, who also got along well with each other.

jiyul still isn't comfortable with leaving yejun's side, but she can if she's with yejoo, which makes yejun really happy.

not because he didnt like her around him, but because it means she's warming up to new people and he's really happy she's trying.

“class, there will be a group project for you to get to know each other better! i know it's early but you have two months to complete this!”

some students were reluctant while some were pretty excited to get to know others better.

the teacher connected her computer to the projector, showing the groups she had formed and explained that she observed some people were already close with each other so she tried splitting them up.

‘split? then...i wont be with yejun..?’ jiyul wondered, looking at yejun worriedly as he looked back, giving her a reassuring smile.

jiyul sighed in relief knowing yejoo would be there, but she wasn't that comfortable with being away from yejun.

she knows they won't be together all the time and she should get used to it, but she has grown so used to being with him it makes her panic sometimes.

“jiyul, we're together!” yejoo said, turning behind to face jiyul.

jiyul nodded, smiling “thankfully we are.” “will you be okay without yejun, though?”

jiyul stared blankly at her table, not knowing how to answer. “if you want, i can change with yejun?” yejoo questioned but jiyul shook her head.

“no...i'll be okay, i have to get used to it. plus, you're there with me.” jiyul mumbled, smiling at yejoo.

“hey, yul, don't worry too much okay? i'll be in the same room so it'll be okay. yejoo, if anything happens please do tell me.” yejun spoke, patting jiyul's head as he spoke.

jiyul nodded, yejoo replying “of course i will!"

“okay class! please go sit with your groups!”

yejoo and jiyul stood up together, finding their other two seatmates, who were awkwardly sat next to each other.

jiyul guessed they never really talked before this. yejoo sat on the chair infront of them and waved happily at them.

“hello! i'm lee yejoo! you guys are?”

a girl with long hair quickly introduced herself as well, “i'm choi hana! it's nice to meet you guys!”

a girl with slightly shorter hair than the previous girl also introduced herself, “i'm ji seori,, let's get along well!” seori then looked at jiyul expectantly.

“ah..i'm..kang jiyul..” jiyul mumbled, shying away as her ears turned red. “oh! are you and that guy you sit with dating? you guys look super cute together!” seori asked, pointing st ayden who was getting along well with his group.

“...oh my god..me and yejun are cousins, i promise!” jiyul made an ‘x’ with her fingers as yejoo nodded, clarifying “i thought the same too, it was so embarrassing when i asked them that as well!”

“oh, sorry for jumping to conclusions then! you two are always together so i just assumed..you know?” hana apologized, seori nodding as well.

“let's share some fact about ourselves!” yejoo suggested, everyone agreeing.

“i'll start then! i was born in seoul, february 5th 2004, i'm an entp and have a baby sister!”

“i was born in seoul as well, june 9th 2004,, i'm esfp and i have an older brother.” seori introduced herself.

“i was born in gwangju but moved to canada for a few years before coming back here! my birthday is on january 3rd 2004, my mbti is esfj and i have one younger sister and brother and one older brother!” hana spoke happily, as the three of them all turned to jiyul.

jiyul looked down, starting to introduce herself, “i was born in daegu, birthday october 5th, my mbti is infp...uhm...yejun is my cousin, and i have two twin brothers in different classes so we're triplets..”

“aww! so you're the youngest out of the four of us, you're so cute too!” seori said, patting her head as jiyul got embarrassed by the sudden affection.

“we should be a friend group! wouldn't that be fun?” hana suggested, everyone happily agreeing to the idea.

the four got along well, jiyul still pretty shy but the three always included her in the random conversationd they were having.

with yejun—

yejun was looking at jiyul, constantly checking up on her which caught his groups attention.

“are you worried about your girlfriend?” minwoo asked, looking at the direction of where yejun was looking at.

“dude..she's my cousin.” yejun stared at the three weirdly, receiving shocked looks from the trio. “whoops, my bad!” minwoo apologized.

“you guys act like a couple though?” hyunwoo said, not believing it “you could ask her later, if you wanna eat with us?”

“sure. but you guys act like a couple so often though? like.. i remember when you first came in, she was holding onto you really tightly?” donghyun said, thinking back to when that happened.

“she was home schooled before this, her brothers went to normal schools but she couldn't because she was too scared to leave the house and meet new people, so i always stayed with her whenever her brothers weren't home.”

“but didn't you go to school?”

“i went to her house after school ended, and stayed with her most of the time.”

“that's nice of you, she must mean alot to you then?”

“of course she does, she's like a little sister to me, i'd hate to see her anything but happy. so seeing her talking to people after such a long time, it makes me really happy.” yejun said, smiling as he glanced at jiyul who looked relaxed and not as nervous as before while she talked to her group members.
