Camilla Valerius: She came to visit you in Whiterun, which did not seem out of the ordinary to you, as you considered her and her brother good friends for a long while. In fact, it was two years since you first met them from the day she came to visit you. What came as a surprise to you was how early she came. It was only about 8:20 in the morning, and Ulberth was just walking to his and Adrianne's smithy while you stood on the opposite side of the road, doing nothing in particular. Soon, you noticed her and asked, "Camilla? What are you doing here so early?" She waltzed toward you slowly, clearly nervous about something as she pushed the tips of her fingers together. "I, there's something I've been meaning to tell you... something I've put off for quite a while now." You smiled at her with excitement and hope in your eyes, as you could tell what was about to do. But first, she spoke to you. "I just, I just wanted to thank you for all you've done for me and my family over the time you've known us. You... never had a reason to help us with the claw, and yet you've done so much for both of us after that. Investing in Lucan's store, dealing with Faendal and Sven, ensuring they'd leave me alone. I just want to..." By now, she looked you in the eye, clearly wanting to seal her true feelings for you, but you saw that nervousness was rapidly overtaking her. "I-I can't do this," Before she could leave, you gently grabbed her by her arm above her elbow. Your grip was extremely gentle, and you had every intention of letting her go should she decide you were pushing too hard, but she did not leave. She looked at you, still very nervous, but reassured by your calm and comforting smile. She mouthed to you, "I need you to do it, I'm too scared." You suppressed a small laugh and replied in kind, "Just close your eyes." She did so, and before you leaned in, you saw Ulbreth looking on, before soon being punched in the shoulder by Adrianne and shooed into their store, and you subtly waved Adrianne off in thanks. Then, you cupped Camilla's cheeks in your palms and kissed her. The first was short and sweet, and when you began to move your head away, you immediately felt Camilla's arms pull you by the neck right back in.
Aela the Huntress: You've been Harbinger of the Companions for seven months, give or take a week or two. By now the two of you were seemingly aware of your mutual affection for one another, though Aela struggled greatly with needing to mourn yet another beloved shield-brother, who had been more like a father to her: Kodlak. In spite of her continued grieving, she showed nothing but unwavering support and the utmost respect to you as the new Harbinger, for which you were grateful. However, you found that the biggest downfall to your new position was not having the time otherwise able to spend comforting Aela or spending time with her to reaffirm and grow your relationship with one another. Even still, your feelings for her had not changed, and you weren't convinced hers had either. So, one evening, you found Aela practicing archery in the courtyard of Jorvaskr, and you decided that you desired to speak with her. "Your aim stays true," you spoke aloud to announce yourself to her to avoid startling her, and just as she fired a near perfect shot. "Thank you, Harbinger. It is nice to hear from you." In hearing this, you looked down to your feet in self-disappointment for not putting more time into looking out for her. Perhaps you were thinking too possessive, and you soon wondered to yourself, causing you to shake this thought process off with your head. You continued your steps to where she stood as you replied, "You know, that reminds me..." She turned herself to meet you as she asked, "Reminds you fo wha-Oh!" She was surprised as she felt her figure being snatched tightly by your arms. "That I owe you plenty more embraces than this." She blushed as she slowly lifted her forearm to rest on your back and chuckled, "You are my leader. You do not owe me anything." You shook your head as a response and followed this up with, "I am your shield-brother and friend first and foremost, and in my adjusting to my new rank, I lost time that should've been spent comforting you with the loss of Kodlak, just as I had done with Skjor's passing." It was at this moment, she understood, and quickly wrapped her other arm over your shoulder, as she insisted, "In respect to the traditions of the Companions, I must insist that you recognize that I am only one of your many shield-siblings who was in need of guidance after the loss of our last Harbinger, and to remind you of your duty to not favor one of us over the others. But as a 'friend' and deep admirer of your endless kindness and selflessness towards all of us, I can't help but thank you for thinking so much of me." At this, you pulled away slightly, but only so you both could stare fondly into one another's eyes, as your figures still rested in the tight grips of your arms. "Yeah, 'friend'." You noted coyly, and she giggled, sparking a chuckle out of you, as you both leaned in for your first kiss.
