The party goes on and Aerith was dragged from a businessman to another businessman. He knew that his father is doing that for him to gather the courage he needs before facing Seven.
"Are you ready?" Mr. V whispered to him.
Aerith is shaking inside. Mr. V holds his hand and gave him an encouraging smile.
"If he loves you, he will accept you wholly. Just remember, you don't have to be afraid. I am always here for you," he told his son.
Aerith hugs him, "I love you, Dad,"
Mr. V hugs him back, "And I love you more than my life, my little Aerie,"
Aerith smiled. He misses that nickname. Mr. V pats his cheek and told him to go. Taking a deep breath, he starts looking for Seven.

"Because it's you, and everything about you," Seven answered right away.
Aerith grimaced, not satisfied with the answer.
"I don't know why you wanted to know the reason but to me, I love you because it's you," Seven said.
"You don't even know me," Aerith stated.

"Were your feelings always right?" Aerith challenged.
"I admit, I failed once but that bastard paid the price. But I can't change how I am in this matter," Seven said.
Aerith didn't say anything. Seven grabs his hand, "Look-
"I'm sick," Aerith cuts in.
Seven was stunned to speak and so, Aerith repeated what he said.
"Is it incurable? Did you seek professional help? I don't care about the price, I will do everything to cure you," Seven said in one go.
Aerith smiled thinly, "What if it's incurable, and I'm going to die-
