"Muichiro-kun, you can stop petting my tail now.." You sweat dropped, an hour has passed since muichiro started to play with you tail,

"but it's so soft" Muichiro pouted slightly, you couldn't help but chuckle at the sight of it

It has been a few months actually since you and Muichiro became friends, and surprisingly you got closer to him rather quick, he would always give you head pats, going cloud-gazing with you, or even go to some restaurants you both love,

"Hey Y/n-Chan, I have a question" You tilted your head slightly at Muichiro wondering what he wanted to ask

"Ask away, what is it?" You half-smiled as you waited for the mint boys response

"Were you born with these ears and tails?.." Muichiro muttered as he continued playing with your tail

You stopped for a moment as you think,

You couldn't remember.

"Sorry Muichiro I can't seem to remember.." You frowned not being able to answer his question

"y/n-chan it's fine if you can't remember.." Muichiro's voice sort of sounded sleepy and reassuring at the same time,

You take a look at the boy who was playing with your tail

Just to see the sight of the boy sleeping peacefully on your tail, you smiled,

'I'll just wrap him warm with my tail then, the temperature has been freezing these few days..' You thought as you extended your fox tail making it a warm blanket for the sleeping mist hashira

'Although muichiro should really stop sleeping randomly.. It could risk his life..' You sighed as you gently pull Muichiro towards you letting him rest beside you, his head is now resting on your shoulder,
Your fox tail still gently wrapped around the boy to warm him up from the freezing temperature

You were used to freezing temperatures so you didn't need anything to warm you up

You were staying at the mist estate since you promised to muichiro you'll visit him on a daily basis

You soon started to drift off to sleep too, you were really exhausted from the mission you were assigned to do earlier,

As you felt your eyelids grow heavier and heavier,

You suddenly felt a sudden movement beside you, it was Muichiro

It looks like he woke up already, although it was now your turn to feel sleepy,

Muichiro noticed you wrapped your fox tail around him to provide him some warmth,

You instantly saw the sparkles in his eyes, it was obvious he was amazed since he literally played with your tail for about an hour or so, he then started playing with your tail again as you drifted off to sleep

~ Muichiro's POV:

As soon as I woke up, I felt like the warmest blanket was given to me,

I blinked for a few times to adjust my eyes to the lighting around my area

And as soon as I took a look what this warm blanket was, it was y/n-chans tail,

It was really warm, soft and fuzzy so I liked playing with it

My eyes lit up, I never really felt this way or acted this way, but the feeling seems familiar..

And as soon as I knew it, I already found myself playing with y/ns tail

I turned my head to take a look at the girl, she was fast asleep

A smile crinkled my face, I let her sleep on my lap, she's also very fuzzy

I decided I would go ahead and sleep too, and so I did

Back to your POV:

Your eyes fluttered open, you felt something warm hugging you,

As far as you can remember, You didn't really use a blanket,

You can tell it was midnight by looking out of the window, there were some cicada's buzzing, and your favorite breeze was still swaying

You finally were able to fully wake up,

Then that's when you realized,

You woke up in the arms of the mist pillar.

Your cheeks was tinted red,

"M-.. Muichiro?.."

You tried to get out of his grasp to stand up but,

Muichiro's grasp was firm, but it was gentle at the same time

You decided to give up and just let him snuggle onto you as if you were a plushie

You waited for a few minutes till he was able to finally be fully awake

"Ah, goodmorning Muichiro" You joked, and you were able to stand up now since his grasp on you softened

"Y/n-Chan? How long did I sleep?" Muichiro asked as he was still in his position still sleepy

"Actually I don't know either but I can say you slept for a few good hours" You took your haori that was resting on a small coffee table

"And also Muichiro" The boy tilted it's head slightly

"Yeah?"

"Oyakata-Sama said we will have a joint mission"

"Ouh, nice"

"Mhm, so you should go get ready now"

The 2 of you get ready for the joint mission that awaits you.
