I am sorry it took so long to update this, I hope it doesn't take that long again.

"My mom says your dad is famous. Is that true?" Lydia, a tall, thin blonde asked leaning over the table in interest. Perrie didn't know Lydia well, only that she was a really great dancer and all the boys apparently liked her.

"Sort of, I guess." Perrie shrugged it off, pushing a few cookie bits around in her ice cream.

"She said that my aunt used to know your dad's brother, they were like a thing or something in high school. How crazy is that?" Lydia gushed excitedly.

"Um, it's pretty crazy." Perrie chuckled awkwardly, forcing a smile.

"She said that they probably would have stayed together, but he got some other girl pregnant or something." Lydia informed the other girls, as if they actually cared.

Perrie nodded slightly. She didn't care to hear tales that Lydia's mother had been telling, the chances of them being true were pretty rare anyway. Of course, it was Taylor she was talking about. If Perrie knew anything it was that Taylor Hanson liked to hook up with random girls, he had proven that. Next to Perrie in the booth, Kayla sighed and shot Perrie an apologetic look. When she had asked Perrie to join them, she didn't now Lydia was going to spend most of the time gushing over has been rock stars.

If Perrie had known that Lydia was going to go on and on about the Hanson family, she would have just gone home with Nikki. No she wouldn't have. Perrie still would have came along, mostly because she wanted to try and make friends. Also, a tiny part of her wanted to finally be out of the house. Shoving a spoonful of chocolate ice cream into her mouth, Perrie resisted the urge to roll her eyes. If this is how people were going to treat her from now on, making friends was going to be a difficult task.

There was hope that having a different last name would distance Perrie from Isaac. She could also hope that his teenage fame was so distant from her age group that nobody else would even know who he was. Until those waters had to be tested, Perrie would sit here and politely nod and smile whenever Lydia brought up a new fact about Perrie's family.

"It must be great to have a famous family. Do you like get to go to meet other famous people?" Lydia asked, clearly more excited than anybody else.

Perrie wanted to scream, this girl hadn't shut up since they got in the car. Clearing her throat, Perrie took a deep breath and slowly shook her head.

"No, I don't really care much about that. It's Isaac's job, it really isn't that big of a deal." she diplomatically gave her reply.

"Seriously? You've never met anyone like famous?" Lydia pried.

Kayla groaned and Perrie giggled. "One time, I met Simple Plan." Perrie offered.

"Your dad knows Simple Plan? Lame."
