A shock wave

When the day ended ben was waiting for May outside at his car when he saw scarlet walking out of school followed by her group of "friends". He then saw May walking out and waved to her. May had walked out with 2 girls smiling and laughing which made ben happy to see. May waved goodbye to her new friends and ran over to ben.

"So I'm guessing it went well M"? Ben asked as he took his little sisters bookbag and opened the passenger door for her.

May got in the front seat and when ben got into the car she told him about her day.

"So Melissa wanted to sit next to me at lunch, but so did Ashley and Alyssa so they ended up rotating so they all could sit next to me". May said in an exciting tone.

Ben smiled as he listened and drove.

"What about you B, did you make any new friends". May asked.

"Umm, yeah I guess". He said taking a turn onto their street.
"His name is Danny Rodriguez".

"Wasn't that supposed to be your guide around the school". May asked.

"Yeah, yeah he seems like a pretty good dude". Ben said now driving into the driveway.

"Well if you asked me your guid can't count as your first friend, they're forced to talk to you"! May said.

"Yeah, well who asked you". Ben said jokingly with a smirk on his face.

"I'm serious"! May responded.

"Go inside and take out the chicken I'm cooking tonight mums going to be late". Ben said.

May grabbed her bookbag and got out the car running inside the house.

Ben stayed in car for a bit. Having flashbacks of images of scarlets face. He thought to himself 'no way a girl like that could be so much trouble'. He finally snapped out of it when his car radio turned on by itself and static came through.

"That's weird". He said confused.

But it was an old car so he decided not to think about it then turned off the radio along with the car and went inside.

The next day at school Ben was at his locker when scarlet walked up to him.

"Hey bennyboo". She said.

Ben got startled and closed his locker pinching his finger slightly. He shook his hand in pain.

"Fuck"! He said slightly.

"Oh my god are you okay, I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you"! Scarlet said.

"No, no it's okay I'm fine". He said to stop her concerns.

He gathered himself for a moment then looked down at scarlet.

"So what's up". He asked.

"Can I see your phone". Scarlet replied.

"Sure"? Ben said in a confused tone pulling out his phone slowly handing it to her.

Scarlet grabbed his phone she smirked as she saw he had no password.

"No password huh". She said as she typed something in his phone.

"What are you doing"? He asked.

"I'm putting in my number also my address and what time to come over". She said.

"Why"? He asked.

"So we can start working on the project, I like to get a head start on things so they'll be done way before the due date". She said as she handed his phone back to him. "Don't be late, bye Bennyboo".
