It had been a month or so since Vienna and Draco joined the Dark Side.

Vienna was as happy as one could be. She spent little time planning because she was not worried about the task. She was simply enjoying her time at her new home.

Draco, on the other hand, was a mess. He rarely slept because he stayed up every night worrying over his plan to please the lord. He had no interest in joining this side. Surprisingly enough, he does not want to cause harm to others, but he has his father to thank for putting him in such a situation. However, he was hardly eating too. He often felt sick and could not bring himself to show his face at most meals. He felt like he was at his lowest point.

As the two arrived at Kings Cross on the day they were set to leave for Hogwarts, Vienna walked with her head held high. Her sister, Claire, was right by her side. Their parents followed right behind them. They looked regal... well put together, poised, kind... all together, they looked like great people.

After all, the Dumonts were very well known throughout the wizard world. Unlike the Malfoys, they were heavily respected; so many people parted to let them walk through. They received nods of respect or kind words. No one dared to say a bad thing because no one knows that their regalness is a front for what really goes on inside their home.

The Malfoys, on the other hand, are known for their dark background. People fear them, so they get what they want. Like many pure blooded and rich families, they were cold and rude. They also looked put together, but they carried a dark feeling as they walked.

As they did with the Dumonts, people parted ways for the Malfoy family, but out of fear. They did not dare to get in their way in fear of being on their bad side. After all, everyone knows not to mess with the Malfoys.

Sebastian and Josephine, the parents of Vienna and Claire, said goodbye to their daughters as the Hogwarts Express came to a stop in front of them.

As they spoke, the Malfoy family stopped a few feet away from them.

Sebastian and Lucius nodded to each other. Many would think it was a nod of respect, however both of those men hated each other.

Like their children, they were enemies. They often competed for the Dark Lord's praise. Their hatred for each other was silent though. They acted to be good friends, but really, they despised each other so much.

"You know what this means to the family," said Lucius loudly to Draco. "I know you can do it, son."

Draco avoided eye contact with his father as he hugged his mother. As he hugged her, Sebastian also spoke loudly.

"Vina, have an amazing year. You will do great things, and I know you will come back glorious," he said.

She smiled and hugged him tightly. She really was her father's daughter.

"I won't let you down, but especially the Dark Lord. I will see you soon, Papa, and you too, Maman."

She shared hugs with each of her parents once more before climbing onto the train because it had blown its final whistle. Claire followed close behind her, and as the train began to pull away from the station, she turned to look at her parents. They were smiling proudly and waving. Both of them had no doubt in their daughter.

After the train pulled out of the station, Vienna and Claire began to wander through the train so they could find somewhere to sit.

Both of the sisters were very outgoing. It did not take long for Claire to poke her head into a cabin full of girls her age and ask if she could sit with them.

Excited smiles spread onto their faces and they all welcomed her in. Vienna continued on her way.

She entered the next compartment. It was full of tables rather than cabins. All of them were pretty much occupied as she walked down the aisle. Many people sitting at them turned to look at her. In fact, she recognized several of the faces. She did not necessarily know them, but she knew of them. Many of them were the well-known heirs of pureblood families.
