Ingredients

"Skye it's me, can I come in?" Ward calls through the door.
Skye started to panic she didn't want him to see that she had been crying. She quickly wiped her eyes and replied.
"Yeah" Was all she could manage as she didn't want her voice to crack.
As Ward walked in he could tell Skye had been crying, so instantly went up to her and knelt down to her level as she was sitting on her bed.
"Skye, what's wrong? Are you still feeling ill?"
Skye reminded herself that she needed to thank Simmons for that later. She didn't want to look Ward in the eye so instead she sat there playing with her fingers.
"Skye, look at me please, was it because of the nightmare?"
Skye slowly lifted her head to look at Ward and saw the concern in his eyes, so she just nodded and looked back down at her fingers.
"Please don't tell anyone though" She said starting to cry.
"Oh Skye, I won't but why didn't you say anything sooner?" Ward questioned as he pulled Skye onto his lap and sat on the bed.
"I don't like to bother people so I just deal with it on my own"
"Well obviously not very well" Ward laughed "Right come on, we are having a break from training and doing something you want to do" Ward exclaimed pulling Skye up.
"Are you sure?"
"Yeah, now what do you want to do?"
Skye was confused but happy as she got to do what she wanted.
"Well maybe we could do some baking and shopping as we are going to be stationed here for two days" She said smiling up at Ward as she saw his expression turn in to dread.
"If you don't want to do it then we don't have to" She said disappointedly as she sat back down.
"No it's fine, come on" Ward said as he saw the look on her face. "Why don't we bake today and then tomorrow go shopping?"
"Okay!" Skye exclaimed jumping up.
"Do we have ingredients?" Ward questioned.
"Yeah, come on!" Skye replied as she started to run pulling Ward along.
Skye wouldn't let go of Ward as she ran so he was just getting dragged behind. She was smiling all the way and as Ward began to run next to her he saw her smile and laughed. When they had got to the cupboard Skye made Ward go in first and as he went in she jumped on his back.
"Gotcha" She yelled with excitement. She laughed and tried to get off, but Ward kept hold of her legs and span round.
"Ward put me down" She laughed.
"Nope, you asked for it" He chuckled as he span faster.
"Ward put me down!"
"Okay!" Ward just dropped Skye and she landed on the floor with a crash.
"Ward you are going to pay for this!" Skye screamed.
Ward starts to help Skye up desperately trying not to laugh at Skye's face.
"Oh come on Skye it was only a joke" Ward laughed.
Suddenly Skye burst into tears, Ward felt incredibly guilty. So he just wrapped his arms around her and let her cry against him.
"Skye, I'm sorry" Ward says
"It's okay" Skye said seeing the guilt in his eyes.
"So what ingredients do we need?" Ward asked Skye to trying to lighten the mood.
"Well all of them" She says pointing to the shelf on the right.
"All of them?" Ward asked as there was a lot.
"Yeah" Skye smiles.
Ward grabs all of the ingredients in his arms and starts to walk to the kitchen leaving Skye to walk behind and pick up anything he dropped. They got to the kitchen and saw May making some lunch for herself and Coulson.
"Right so what do we doing first then?" Ward asked Skye.
"I dunno, I've never baked before" She says laughing.
"Then how are we going to do this then?" Ward asks a little annoyed as he thought Skye knew what she was doing.
"Ahh don't be annoyed, I'm sure someone on the bus knows how to bake, May?" Skye questions May who had started to walk away.
"Okay give me half an hour and then I'll come and help you" May smiles as she leaves.
"Did she just smile?" Skye asks Ward.
"Yeah, well what are we supposed to do for half an hour, then?" Moaned Ward.
"TV!" Skye shouted and raced to the sofa.
