Part 5

Divya was talking with her family and her mother was talking to Mrs. Hong. When her mother asked her friend,"How is your son? And where is he?"

"Ohh!! He also came here with his friends. Maybe entertaining the guests. Wait let me call him."

"It's ok if he is busy we can meet him later."
Just then Divya was taken towards the dance floor by her assistant aka soul sister, Shambhavi.

At the very moment, Joshua came to the venue after completing his errands. He then started searching for Divya, just then he felt a hand on his shoulder, he saw Yuvraj Shekhawat, who was his childhood friend before Joshua shifted to Korea as he was casted by an entertainment company to become an idol.

"Heyy.How are you? What are you doing here? You didn't inform me that you are coming to Korea. How are Uncle and Aunty?" Joshua bombarded questions on Yuvraj.

"Hello and to answer your questions, I'm fine. Your mom invited us as she wanted to surprise my younger sister, who we haven't met for almost 5 months. Also I requested your mom not to inform as I wanted to surprise you as well. And as for my parents, they are here as well." Yuvraj replied in one breath.

"Wow!! I didn't knew you can say that in one go. If you want I can talk in my company to have you as a rapper." Joshua said, taking a glass of water from a waiter and passing it on to Yuvraj.

"Thanks but no thanks. I am very happy with my job as a CEO." Yuvraj said just then he saw his sister on the dance floor with Shambhavi. Joshua also looked the same way, he was shocked to see his girl dancing.

She is not your girl. His inner self reminded him.
For now, but soon, I will make her mine. Joshua said to himself.

"Dude, where were you lost?
I had been calling you for last 5 minutes now."

"Nowhere. I want to meet Uncle and Aunty, you distracted me."

Yuvraj then made a face as if he was hurt by what Joshua said. Joshua just rolled his eyes at his childhood friend's antics.

Just then they heard Mrs. Hong calling them, they both then made their way towards their parents.

Divya, on the other hand was tired after dancing and was drinking water in the corner and made her way towards her parents.
"Ahh.There she is." Yuvraj made her presence known to the Hongs,Shekhawats and Seventeen members as the party has ended and they all were waiting for Divya for lunch.

"Where were you, Divya? Well it's ok. We wanted you to meet, Joshua, as you didn't get to meet in the party." Mrs. Shekhawat then turned towards Joshua and said, "Joshua, she is Divya. I don't know if you remember but you both always used to hangout with each other."

Divya was shocked to hear these. So she asked, "Wait, mom you mean to say is that he is Yuvi bhai's childhood friend?"

(Bhai- Elder brother)

"Yaa.It's him." Mr. Shekhawat replied. Divya then turned to look at her brother, and said,"Wait.Wait.Wait.How can you both be friends when my brother here is just an idiot who knows nothing but to irritate me."Everyone on the table started laughing at her comment.

Yuvraj then glared at her. But in return his father warned him. "Don't you dare look at her like that." Hearing these, Seventeen members had their eyes widened as they remembered the incident in parking lot.

Just then Dokyeom asked, "Which year were you born? Sorry if it may have sounded rude to you." Realizing his mistake, he quickly added the latter part.

Divya then replied,"It's ok and to answer your question I am March 1997."
Then turning towards her parents she asked, "Now care to explain why did you come to Korea? From what I remember when I wanted invited you to visit here, you refused."

Mrs. Shekhawat cleared her throat and replied,"Well tere liye rishta aaya hai Joshua ka."

(We got an marriage alliance for you from Joshua.)

Hearing these,Joshua and Divya both started coughing hard. Divya was shocked to even utter a word.
Then Joshua asked his father, "Is these the reason you asked me if I am dating someone or not?"

"Well we didn't wanted things to be awkward between the families so.." Mr. Hong answered sheepishly.

Joshua just shook his head at his father words.

"I think we should give them some space, so that they can decide." Mr. Shekhawat said and turned to looked at his daughter who was also looking at him.
