Midnight Rain (Meerasim TS)

Chapter 2

Meerab started shivering due to cold. So Murtasim removed his shawl from his body and wrapped it around Meerab.

He caressed her chest and made her drink that water. She drank it a little and said "It tastes a little different, like something is mixed in it."
But ended up drinking half of it because she was actually thirsty.

After drinking it she handed the bottle to Muartasim and said "I feel so dizzy."

She looked at Murtasim with numb eyes. And kept gawking at him for sometime and slurred "Y-you are r-really handsome." And smiled while looking at his face.

The expressions on Murtasim's face changed in a blink of eye and he said "What? You never said me that. Are you ok?."

"Yes and you're the best." She said while fumbling and poked a finger into his chest and stood up from where she was sitting . She held her head with her palm trying to balance herself.

He was completely blank seeing her like this, like she's never said these things to him before. He wondered "Why is she not acting normal?"

He made her sit down again and said "Meerab are you drunk?"

She looked at Murtasim with a pout "How dare you? I am not drunk. I am the soberest girl in this room." She hiccupped and laughed.

Meerab took the shawl that was wrapped around her and shared it with him hugging him.

Murtasim was totally shocked by her actions and was sure enough that she was drunk. He realised it might be in that water which he made her drink and regretted doing that instantly.

"Meerab what is wrong with your voice?" Murtasim asked though he knew she was buzzed.

"My voice? It's absolutely fine you see." She said trying to sound as sober as possible.

Murtasim was about to say something but before he could say anything he started coughing.

Meerab walked clumsily towards the water while stumbling . And brought the bottle towards his mouth.

Muartasim tried to remove it from his mouth while coughing. He warned her through his eyes that he won't drink that. But she forcefully made him drink it and fumbled while saying "What is wrong with you Murtasim? Yoh are coughing, you need water."

As soon as she removed that bottle from his mouth. He screamed "Meerab I was telling you I don't wanna drink." And vomitted all the remaining liquid from his mouth and said "There is alcohol mixed in it."

"Haha Murtasim nice joke." Meerab laughed.

"Oh God she is totally high. How will I handle her now." He wondered in his mind.

Meanwhile his head also started spinning due to the effect of alcohol he just consumed.

Meerab held Murtasim's jaw and faced it towards her and said "My handsome husband."
Like she was literally telling things she would have never said in sober state.

Her eyes were lagging while looking towards him and she kissed him on his cheeks and wrapped her arms around his torso and kept her head on his shoulder.

Murtasim smiled a little when she kissed him but he himself was not in the state of stopping her because of his drunken state.

She cupped his cheeks with her hands, having fuzzy eyes and looked at his lips for a minute and then his eyes and then again looked at his lips and locked her lips with his deeply. He also reciprocated that kiss with equal passion.

He took her hands and caged her towards the ground and hovered on top of her. Meerab smiled and said "Murtasim let's do it. We are husband and wife , we need to do it someday anyway so why not today?"

Murtasim realised what he was doing and got up immediately trying to control himself and be in senses although he was intoxicated and said "No meerab you are not in your senses, I am not in my senses too. We can't do it now." He slurred while rubbing his eyes.

Meerab sat on Murtasim's lap wrapping her legs around him and kissed him on his neck and said "You are so hot Murtasim. You've got no idea."
